Star above my name

The higher the number the better. It's calculated on the number of positive and negative ratings you have received. 7 is pretty good really.

yES it is positive thing here...such as when you reach your first 100 posts you will have a star so the number inside is your rating that it can be improved by your activity as well!! So now is silver whe your rating will be higer than now also the star will chenage the colour!! This is only to have a rating for users and community here...this don't affect your earnings you cna have daily or monthly!!

i think the mylot star is a combination of the no. of posts that we had and other mylotters' rating of the responses or posted discussions we made.

It has to do with your ratings. As you might have noticed you are now an 8. It goes up as people rate your discussions. When you post a discussion and people respond there is a + and a - just below your discussion off to the right hand side. It is important that people rate other people's discussions in order to give them a higher rate (if it is indeed a good one). I gave you a + by the way. Have a super day!

From what I can tell from the myLot FAQ and other things I think that the star above your name has to do with your reputation, like the number of times people have rated you good or bad. I'm not quite sure how to read yours or if it's good or bad but it seems like it may be good. But myLot isn't very clear about things like this. I think they should go into greater detail about how the site works and how to understand things.

I just gave you another + to get you on your way. When you get to 100 posts you are given a star. Just keep posting quality posts and it will probably go up. If you get controversial in politics and religion it will probably go down. I have not checked but I am told people who hang around those subjects are not highly rated. Some people say it affects your earnings, others say not. I think somewhere in the FAQ it says it does.
