do you still watch movies in the big screen?

Hello Flagella08, After 1 year I visited the big screen a month ago. Yes I miss the Dolby sound system, the popcorns and ofcourse the shushers! I used to go to the cinemas weekly, but since married commitments all chnaged and I hardly have time for it!

No, i dont. It's becoming more and more expensive. Way expensive. I couldn't enjoy a date anymore. lol! I just download movies at home. I can basically download one or two movies a day so i guess can maintain my movie fix. I don't buy pirated DVDs because of the poor quality and i don't buy originals either. I may not want to buy something i won't use often. Not now at least.

I prefer watching movies in big screen.. I can enjoy a movie to the fullest if I watch it in a hall...I love watching movies and I often visit Multiplex for this reason.I buy Dvds too,if I liked the movie very much.

Yes, same here. I have a collection of dvds here. Upon reading your post I realized that I haven't watched a movie in the big screen for 3 years now. I just like the idea that I watch it comfortablyat home, unlike in the cinema where you have to sit straight or awkwardly slouch on your seat.

yes, there is some fun in watching movies in the big screen with all our friends so i dont miss the big screen even i got bunch of the dvds

I only go to the theater if it is a movie I just cannot wait to see. Then I try to go to the matinee so it is a little cheaper. Most of the time I will wait for the movie to come out on DVD (it is a short wait these days) and just rent it from Netflix. I don;t have to drive anywhere, spend money on gas, can wear my pajamas and eat my own food that does not cost an arm and a leg.

I like watching it in big screen.Although dvd,s give great quality its a special feeling to watch movie with so many people around.To hear their responses to the dialogues and enjoy great quality of picture and sound.

I still watch especially when i like the film very much. its so nice to watch in big screen but we all know it cost a lot of money to buy tickets for the whole family. And food expenses needs to be considered too because everyone wants to munch on food while watching movies. besides that, there is gasoline expenses , transportation expenses because we have to travel from home and cinema and vise versa. Its good to have a collection of dvd and just stay at home. Happy family together. Happy mylotting and smile always.

Yes, watching movies on screen is always fun, more when you are with your friends. No matter how much we watch movies on home theater or pc, we never get that experience which we can get through big screen television. All the dolby surround sounds makes it happening and we feel very real. I have watched a movie of spiderman in a dome theater and I really liked it very much as we can see the wall crawler moving at the top of the theater and it looked all very realistic!

I am like you, I have a collection of movies in DVD at home and I prefer to see them in my laptop at home in my room, my parents are too busy so I just end watching the movies alone which is good for me too as there won't be anyone to tell me to do something for them, I have a series of horror movies which they dislike also. I have not been to the cinema for more than 2 years and since the new movies I get them in DVD so I do not need to go there. I sometimes call some friends at home to watch a movie with them but we won't be going to cinema to waste time, money and we might also not enjoy it with so many people around.

I go to the movies at least every two months. That is a lot less than what I used to do before, when my husband was alive. We preferred the big screen instead of the small TV screen. I know that there are now home theaters and they are less expensive that what they were. But the magic of the movies is still out of the house.

I still do.. cause there are movies that are not just the same if you watch it in a big screen, with surround sounds.. So unless our television is like 50" or more.. I would always be watching films in the big screen. =)

I'd love to watch movies at the big screen if only tickets hadn't become so expensive.. So now I just wait for a clear dvd copy and buy it- it's more affordable and convenient too since I can watch it again and again.

I watch movies in the movie house.I do watch those movies that I really like and eager to see.for example,I'm looking forward to seeing Transformers revenge of the fallen in movie theaters.other movies that might interest me,am not going to catch them in theaters.I'll just watch them in DVD.

yes i surely do. sometimes with my parents and most of the time with my boyfriend. i love watching action packed films with nice cinematography and good quality of computer graphics and special effects. which lead you to an exhilarating and non stop clutching to the edge of your seats. its nice to watch movies at home but more satisfying to watch it on the big screen. thanks friend jhelai

Yes, I still watch movies sometimes in the cinema. But these are usually only the blockbuster ones like Harry Potter, Batman, Transformers, and the like. Movie tickets are so expensive nowadays. That is why I also cut down my going to the movies every week. I just watch dvds at home too.

Yes, i still watch movies on the bigscreen...usually with my boyfriend. Though, we choose only the movies that we watch--those best movies. We only buy dvds of the other not so interesting movies.
