Can you sleep without a fan or A/C under such hot weather?

At the past three days, the temperature is keeping on rising. Although at night time, the sun goes down, and it might cool down a little bit. Without a fan or A/C, we just can't go to bed like that. It is still scorchy. How many of you can sleep without the fan or A/C on? I personally can't do it. I must have either one on all night. Otherwise, I just can't fall into sleep.

I actually like fan and the window open. Because of where we live, it is very humid, and with the way the bedrooms are located in the house, they get very muggy. Sometimes, we sleep with the door open and the fan on and the window on. Or, we sleep with the door open and nothing open or on. I really enjoy sleeping with the window open and the door open because of more circulation. And it helps with the humidity and mugginess.

No I can't, because of my heart condition, too much heat make unwanted palpitations. I can't afford to take medication more than two times in a day. I'd rather spend much on electricity bill than see myself in the hospital, lol. It makes me dizzy too and irritated all day.

I have both ac and a fan on in my bedroom. In fact, where ever I am in the house I will have a fan on. I am always too warm, even with the ac. And very still air is very hard for me to take. Its a very good thing that I live on a sea coast, we usually have a very nice breeze coming off the water.

I can only go to sleep like that if I'm not covered up with a blanket or there is a window open. Without something, it is a little bit unbearable. I noticed that when I go to sleep hot, I wake up a lot easier and I'm always really uncomfortable and sweaty. Like right now, I just woke up and felt disgusting and couldn't go back to sleep, lol, turned the air on.

Since singapore is a warm country, its definitely a MUST for me to keep the fan on. And recently my husband just bought an a/c particularly because its soooo hot! He used to hate having the fan blowing in his direction since he can't stand the cold. But now he argues with me saying that i'm hogging the fan. And ever since we have the a/c, he still insists that the fan is in his direction.

This is one of the reasons why I can't STAND hot weather. I'd rather have it cold than hot. I usually can't sleep when it's hot, even if I keep a fan on all night. I don't have A/C at all where I'm living now, but when I was growing up, my parents never left the A/C on all night because it just costs too much. I got into the habit of having a fan blowing on me all night, but it still doesn't really help enough.

we have similar case, It's hard to sleep when it's hot. but when I'm too tired, I can sleep even when it is hot. If I'm not tired, I used fan to cool me down during the night.

Last month our ac went out. It was 80 degrees in the house and I was about to die as it was. So I borrowed a fan from my dad who lives near us. It helped me get through the night. If its to hot I will toss and turn and be up half the night.

Even i suffer from the same case. Sometimes during midnight the power goes off for more than 4 to 5 hours in my area and it is the terrible time i face. I keep my windows open but still i am not getting enough breeze. Although i stay very near to the coastal area, still i am reeling from the summer heat and at this point of time, there will be no see breeze too in the late evening hours which makes life quite terrible whenever there is a power cut. I can manage without an AC and moreover i never use AC that regularly. But without fan, it is quite impossible for me to live without that during the Summer season. But whenever there is a heavy sea breeze, I never turn on the ceiling fans.

I have but it sucks! I don't like the heat and I sleep worse when it is hot! I use fans if it isn't really hot. When it is really hot I use my air conditioner. Other I wouldn't be able to sleep! I need to be comfortable as possible when it is hot in the summer!

I live in a hot country, it's important to switch the fan on almost all the time, even at night. I can't sleep if I don't switch it on. We don't have AC at home and even if we have one, I don't think we will switch it on all the time. The bill can be expensive and my throat will be dry. Electric fan is enough.

I sleep with the ceiling fan on all night. I use several blankets because i am usually cold. My air conditioner work too good sometimes so lately i've been turning the a/c up to 79 or 80 at night.
