What do you like to do with the kids on weekends

Every weekends is out time to go out coz it's my hubby's off from work. We go to the park so he can play and swing, sometimes we go for a walk for fresh air but sometimes coz money is so tight we just play at the back garden and having a bbq while he is playing on his paddling pool. Happy posting.

We plan for a picnic sometimes and sometimes we spend at home playing indoor games and outing in the evenings and talking all about the facts of their school and friends that they came across all the week.

Hi jules and welcome to mylot...Although I'm not divorced we do things that aren't very expensive either. I'm sorry to hear about your divorce and hope it's for the best. We like going to the park or just taking a walk around the block. Although it's not for me I've heard that camping is a favorite thing for families to do that doesn't cost very much. I don't know if that would be something for you to do but it's a suggestion. I would also call your local town or county office and see if they have a recreation bulletin for the summer. Sometimes the local offices have reduced rates on activities for children. Good luck!

hi, i'm new in my lot and i'm from the Philippines. i'm a mother of two girls. the eldest is 16 and the youngest is 7. i've a hard time choosing an activity for the weekend because we are all generations apart hehe. but we got to church together in the morning, then we just go home and spend the rest of the day watching DVDs of teenage movies and some old movies for the whole family. then we do their assignments for monday towards the evening. how's that?
