I was looking for a movie so I asked a friend, she suggested I watch 28 weeks later, though zombies aren't my favourite type of movie I like variety and I Robert Carlyle is a great actor to going to watch it. Now I really enjoyed 28 days later with Cillian Murphy on which this is supposedly based and Resident Evil(s) were good, as was I am Legend, but then we started to talk about how zombies have changed. The classics from the time of Romero where they barely shuffled to the super agile ones in the movies above, the only one that has the same classical zombie that I have seen lately was Shaun of the Dead(I think Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were hilarious in Hott Fuzz) which was well done and who knew zombies were funny. While looking up the reviews of 28 days later, I found out that there is a huge argument of fast vs slow zombies. How about you, do you like zombie films? If so which ones and would you suggest for someone who isn't a super fan?

I have seen many zombie movies in my day. So many of the zombies are the slow moving ones. I always found them more funny than scary. How can you not get away from them unless you are standing still? Then I started seeing the movies with the fast zombies. Now those are much scarier. It is funny that you mention "I am Legend". The movie is based on a book my Richard Matheson and was written in the 1950's. The creatures in the book are considered to be vampire like (they cannot get into the light) like than zombie like. I guess they could be considered a cross between the two.
