Do you keep track of your myLot discussions and your earnings?

I think trying to break the "logorhytm" is against mylot guidelines. I'm not that analytical anyway... But I somewhat keep track of how much I earn each day. I compare what I earn to how much time I've spend in myLot. I don't compare my number of discussions to my earnings to try to figure out how much I am earning per discussion. It's just too much work for me. I am wondering if any of you do that. Or if you have certain "goals" for myLot. Like "I am going to start or reply to 10, 20 or 100 discussions per day" Or "I want to reach payout every month" Do you keep track? Do you have goals for myLot?

I keep track of my post rate (the big number after my user name) the number of discussions a day, my total amount and how much I'm paid each day. e.g. today my post count when I started was 7789, which was 4 more than yesterday. My amount was $7.05 which is .05 cents more than yesterday. But we are paid a day behind and the day before I only answered 2 new discussions so I was paid .025 cents for each discussion. Sometimes I say...I will try and answer 190 new discussions a day but these seem to be the days I get side tracked. I must try and do more tasks but there is rarely anything for me to do.

Don't know where that 9 came from...it should be "10 new discussions each day"

I keep track of discussions I've replied to so I can always leave another comment if needed, or just to check out what other people write. But I don't pay attention to my earnings. I don't really care about the pennies. I have $14.51 and have been a member like over a year lol ...

I don't keep track of my earnings to the point of knowing exactly how it is that they do it, but I do stay on top of things so I have an idea of how much work I need to do a day, in order to make a certain amount of money. I have an idea of how much I want to earn for a day, and how much I need to do to earn that money.

Most months I aim for fifty minimum responses per day, but that can sometimes become a bit much, especially if your comments are long. I certainly have enough notifications to carry out this much work, but it's tiring, and time-consuming my friend, and life outside comes first, I'm afraid. However, having said that, I do like to keep track of my friends in here. Brightest Blessings.

yes i do, i have all notifications on so i see it all on my email if what my friends opened or started in their discussions and also who responded at mine as well. i also see my earnings and make a seperated list to see how much i earn everyday. as of now i can not be much at mylot so i dont keep track with the earning. i will again if i can log in everyday.

yes it is against mylot rules, I don't bother worrying about it, I get what I get, I spend most of my time doing the tasks it says up front exactly what the pay out will be.

I think, if you boil it down, trying to figure out how much money you make on mylot in the first place would squander much valuable time that could be used for posting, or for heaven forbid!, much more productive venues! Just my thought. I did, initially when I started try to figure out how it all worked, but in the end I realized that for 20-30 minutes of discussion and reading I was only making change anyway.

Keeping track of discussions and earnings? Wow, that's what I did a long time ago. I counted the number of my posts and earnings to figure out how much I could make each day. I made a goal for me to reach at least 10 posts a day. If I happened to make $1 someday, I'd be in ecstasy for a whole day. Aha, a bit silly, right? Now, I no longer keep track of my posts and earnings. It's too tiring. I think I'd better forget about the earnings and just concentrate on what interests me. Anyway, I don't want to be here only for the money. Happy mylotting!

The only thing I do is keep track of totals from all the sites I earn from online so I do the same with myLot. I've never really thought about trying to work out the ratio been contribution and earnings. It would be interesting to try and work it out but I think there are so many variables to the algorithm, many of which are not directly linked to our own level of contribution, that I am sure you would end up becoming very confused between the day to day fluctuations. As for setting goals. I did try this at one point but it soon took the enjoyment out of participating on myLot as I ended up replying to discussions which really didn't interest me just in the hope of reaching my daily target. So these days I just let it flow and contribute where I find something which interests me.

No, I don't. I have been curious about how the whole earngins thing work though, I just try to post as much as I can everyday and check up with my earngins the next day, I never figured out how it works, I mught just mark down how many posts I do everyday someday to try to track how much I gain. My goals in mylot is posting everyday, do as much as I can to reach minimum payout every month, the more I work here, the more I gain ;-)

Although I am interested in making the most of the time I spend on MyLot, I really don't have any specific goals. I work EMS and work 24 hour shifts 10 days out of the month. It is on these days that I attempt to spend my spare time on MyLot. I'm letting the money from all the online sites I participate in grow within Paypal, and I send it to one of my credit cards every month. It is an excellent way to lower my debt! I will have a department store credit card paid off in about 2 more months...and then that will give me an extra $15 on top of my online earnings to apply to the next one!

I don't set any goals in terms of number of reponse a day or minimum payout every month for myself in MyLot. I am here is meant more to read others' discussion and only respond to those which I am really interested in. Knowing that MyLot did show us the earning day by day, I would go and check out my daily earnings. However, sometimes I am a bit disappointed realizing that I only got very little earning after spent so much time here. Still I keep on telling myself most important things is have fun here. Cheers~~!!

I usually will try to watch the amount of posts I do, but not really my earnings. I don't make payout every month, but that is ok.

I don't usually pay much attention to my earnings - not that they are so big. "I'm just here for the party".

Well at the moment i'm trying to make extra cash so mentally i do check everyday how much i have earnt form replying to posts the day before and approximate if i reply to x amount if post i recieve x amount of money. I have also been thinking if i reply to x amount per day every day how much i could actually make in a month.

I don't really track my post and compare it with my earnings. I just post and reply to other post and from time to time see if I have already reached payout. I think it is really hard to completely check how much we earn here if we based it on the postings alone. I really do not know how earnings are computed. So I just enjoy my post and learn from the post of others.

Hi miamilady...yes my goal is to do at least 5 of the $2 tasks to reach payout. I do more if I am feeling energetic... Usually now I earn same as Oreo there...about $40-$60 a month and I love it! I should say I aim for 5- $2 tasks a week. I have also done the $4 ones when they are available. Then the rest of the time, I can pick and choose discussions more to what I feel like answering, rather then giving any old answer to everyone just to make money. It makes answering discussions more pleasureable.

This is my very first post and response so I will see how things go. I would like to participate and see where it takes me. I would also like to get some nice referrals here. Let's see what happens.
