Personally I felt very bad when I finished reading the deathly hallows. Not because of the story but because I won't get any more chance to read a Harry Potter book. Those books created a virtual world so effectively that it looked pretty much like a real world. But also I beleive that the way she ended the story writing a new book will not be a better idea. Showing Harry Potter as an adult with a new villian does not seem interesting and showing Hogwarts again with some new "Harry Potter" like character will be boring. So I think it is better not to have any more future book on Harry Potter.

Well, if you put it like that, it doesn't make sense to write another book. But she could write about his life after passing out of Hogwarts. Just cause she's mentioned what happens in Harry's future doesn't mean she can't write about how he got there. But frankly speaking, even I don't think that would be an interesting read. :P So i guess we've all seen the end of Harry Potter.

Yeah, i guess she could write other books. But I don't think they could be as good as the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter was Rowling's stroke of genius. I doubt she can come up with something as interesting as Harry Potter again.

Yes sadly we have seen the end of Harry Potter. But may be she can keep aside Harry Potter and try to write another book with a new concept. But again I doubt if it can be as famous as Harry Potter has been.

They should. No one thought there could be a cooler villain than Darth Vader, but JK Rowling did it. So, why not?
What I want to see in the next installment?
Harry and Hermione together. For heaven sake, they are a perfect match.

Naah. Hermione and Ron make a better couple. They are really cute together, and i love the way Ron is so scared of Hermione. :P

I do I mean the main 3 characters are still alive and they have childern which is even neater. She should write books about Harry's childern going to school as well as the other two Ron and Hermione.

From the way she ended it I don't think she plans to write another book. If she did though it maybe Harry as an adult, but a new villian would have to appear. Voldemort is gone, so who or what would it be?

Any sequel to deathly hallows will undermine the legacy left behind by potter-voldemort rivalry.Rowling has extensively written about the magical world of Harry Potter and another villain entering the scene may not work because Voldemort was such a powerful character.

i dont think that she should continue the harry potter series. i mean yes i love them and its sad to have finished all of the books but there are only supposed to be 7 books in the series so for her to continue it i think that it would be dumb. plus the way she ended the deathly hallows was phenomenal and i dont think that she would be able to continue the series after that.
