i have not done that cause before i was using motorola and they were only accepting Nokia phones in pawnshop. but after than i never again tried to pawned any thing like watch or any thing. cause because of my stable earning online i don't need to pawn any thing. though i don't earn much online but that is more than enough for me to have some money monthly to depend on.

lots of people do pawn their phone. like people like me who have no job but able to save some money and were able to buy the phone. and when they need the money again they will need to pawn the phone. it was unavoidable for most people like us.

OK now I know I'm responding to this pretty early in the morning but, why would you pawn your phone?
I don't get it, what if they started making long distance calls?
They would have access to all of your phone numbers to friends and family.
I have never heard of or would even think of doing that.

of course you have to take away the sim card from the phone only the phone will be pawned. you have to delete any personal information on the phone and make a copy to your self.

I have never ever pawned anything other than my first wedding bands from my first marriage because I didn't want them. I won't pawn anything either because to pawn is to borrow only to have to pay more to get the item back and the cycle continues like that until one decides that they've had enough and suffer the consequences to get out of that hole.

I did take my cellphone to a pawnshop and they said they'll pay a hundred dollars for it but then I decided I wanted to keep my cell phone. I won't use the phone anymore but it has personal value for me since I used it everyday for 2 years. A hundred dollar wasn't much I ended up not selling it

So far, i haven't pawn any of my things. It's because, whenever i am having shortage of money for use for a particular month, i will start to dig my piggy bank to cover my extra needs. When on some months, when we have excess money, i will start to save them in my piggy bank. I am getting ready them for the raining days needs. Hope you will be able to overcome your financial problem soon...
