Why is it that we crave chocolate?
Why does it make us soooo happy?
Is it a comfort food?
Or is it just sheer indulgence?
Give ne your opinion.

Oh my!!!
fabulous topic and smartly put by the way!
Well here goes my usual explanation.
Why?
Because it's sweet, creates endorfines -happiness hormons- gives a good brain activity, creates a steady contented mood, brings up sugar level, removes head-ackes, improves the love life...need I go on? I think I'll find reasons till morning.
We crave it:
Lack of magnesium, lack of calcium, low blood sugar, over-stressing job,bad night sleep, worse relationship....and again the list can go on.
Comfort food? TOTALLY!!!
Indulgence: Maybe ??? Or maybe not.
But for sure :ADDICTION.
Anyway it is food of the gods as aztecs used to call it and it is meant to be enjoyed and praised.
congrats on the smart topic.

I know it makes me happy just to eat it.
I like milk chocolate the most.
Don't really care for the dark even though they say it is better for you.
I just had a piece of chocolate cake & I'm just as happy as can be..lol
Thanks for the comment iqphanton

Hey,
Well I also don't really know why I crave chocolate so much, but I think that it is because it tastes so nice. If chocolate wouldn't taste that nice, I don't think that anyone would crave it, at least I wouldn't. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
