hey guys i admit that i've been out of mylot for months together. B4 i was off from here my money here was aound $2. something. It was not much. But when i started getting bck here i saw that all my money here was lost and i was left with a mere $0. I read the rules later and got to know that it was my fault of not being here for nearly 6 months. Now dat i'm back i started being quite regular in posting responses and even started a few discussions which got quite interesting responses. Like i got 34 responses for one discussion . And now i thought i'd be making 30 cents for that single discussion. What i see is my account is still at $0.05. What am i gonna do. I'm not getting atleast a penny for my responses or responses at my discussion. Anybody please help me with this. it'd be of gr8 favor. thank you.

Hey there! I believe there is a reason of why your earnings had dropped to almost zero. First, I'd like to say that Mylot doesn't deduct earnings just because a member is inactive. I was. Inactive for almost a year but my earnings are still intact.
Here are the possible reasons why your earning dropped.
First, it is possible that you responded to some discussions that violated guidelines and so it got deleted and when its deleted so does your earnings that you earn for that certain discussion.
Second, you said you've been currently active here, now if your wondering if you earned or not for your activities today, I suggest you wait for the earnings to be updated. Now updating depends of your time server. It updates 12 est. I don't know what time it updates in your area but if you know what time it will be by 12 est then that's the time you should check updates for your earnings.
Every activity counts in here just keep on posting and you'll soon see some improvements.

I was inactive for a year and my earnings were brought back down to 0. It states that if you are inactive your earnings will go back down to nothing.

You are right that if we are inactive for months more than mylot allowed, our earnings are still there and you can still view it but it is not forwarded or carry over so you have to accept that you lost that earnings you work when you're active.
Your tips is helpful. It is true that you wait until the earning updates.

Ahh yes that's right, but during my inactive months I still check Mylot one in a while but just do not respond to discussions.
If he didn't happen to check even once of that 6 months inactive then it can be one reason that Mylot did deducted the earnings. But if he did then the possible reasons I gave on top can be the reason why.

i know how frustrated you would be to see $0 in your account. i m not sure how the admin calculates the earnings. Do you respond to the comments on your discussion?, do you give ratings? do you comment on others discussions?. Probably that could increase your earnings! Good luck

When we register here on myLot we are asked if we agree to the TermsofUse. In them it is stated that after three months/90 days of inactivity we will lose all earnings. Therefore if we join without reading them it is not myLot who are being unfair but us that are wrong.
We are also told that we earn through our own activity. That means we do not earn from the activity of others. If you receive 30 responses those who post them will be earning for them and not you. You can earn from them by going and commenting on them all.

well i guess everybody has a rule and their is not so favorable to you but i guess that is something that we should remember . For your post i guess you should post more often and have fun posting rather than quantifying it because really we dont know how mylot works but it is always fun

I think your earnings are not yet updated in mylot. Maybe their site doesn't update very fast or maybe that is because of your absence from the site. I have read before their TOS that if you are in active for 30 days your earnings will be deducted.

What is this problem? I am just new here and still learning things around here. As what I observed a post is not automatically credited. But my earnings increased after 24 hours. With regard to the minus I think it has something to do with your absence.

well, if you think that you had been treated unfairly by mylot, you can try to contact the admin and ask them the reason why... when i just started, i also get paid very little here... but as i stay here longer, i find that mylot pay me more and more... so i think it got to do with how long have you been here as well... take care and have a nice day...

It may have to do with duplicate content. If you start a discussion that has been discussed over and over you may not earn as much as you would think. A lot of the make money discussion have been gone over so many times and the questions are all the same.
I am sure that Mylot has software that runs continually to find those topics. That way they aren't paying over and over for the same type of content.

When did you make this discussion? Is it still there? Did you know that mylot updates from 12 to 12, I think Central Time? That may be it, it just takes a little longer then it used to to update sometimes, lol. Well I'm sorry you lost your earnings from being absent from here, and I hope someone can help you figure out what happened to your other earnings.

Hey don't worry buddy.....well i suggest you wait for today's update and see if you have been credited more today......actually the day system works according to mylots server update i don't really know upto what tie do they accept our pots for that days earnings.....so many a times it does happen that i do many responses but then i don't really get more money out of it......but then when i check my account the following day I get more than i expected so that's how it works sometimes......so wait and see how it goes for today......
And be active buddy, mylot is a great place to learn and earn......i don't miss a single day here in mylot.....even if i am busy i see to it that i atleast log in once and solve the queries that my friends have or see if someone has responded to my discussion.....
have a nice day !!!!

Hi,
Welcome back to myLot!
Well, if you did not even log in to myLot for 3 months your earnings will be gone. That was i know if i did not wrong about it, my friend.
That is good if you have many responses from your topic discussion. But we are pay here for our activities. I mean for ourself activities!
If you have so many responses and you did not involve with it, it will not count for your activity. As i know, Our activities are post discussion, make responses and uploading image. And do not forget for comments to responses that we are accept in your discussion. This will be count as our activity too.It will be good.
myLot is social networking page, it will be our opportunity to help each other.
And, I am not sure if we post a discussion will be earn 30 cents. It could be wrong!.
Surely, All of us did not know the algoritm calculation from myLot. So please do not ask the money we earn, just give myLot the best you can do. And myLot will give you bonuses you never expect!

well. you should join few discussions in an hour or a day.
discussions that interests you to talk about. doing so may perhaps increase your earnings.
ive been here for a week now and i join few discussions, share thoughts of my interests. and i did make few cents for that. though i did'nt mind on how many bucks i would make as long i share and help people on their views. its fine with me.
hope i helped you in few of my pointers. hehehehe.. enjoy

I personally feel that a reputed site like Mylot need not take away the amount when the member is absent for six months.

I hate MyLot. I came for the extra cash, found it too slow, tried to get into discussions, and decided this community is too diverse to be interesting. It's hard to find any topics in my interests which are actively discussed. I came to the conclusion that MyLot is a bad place to earn money and an even worse place to find friends or discuss your interests. I don't know why I return here every month, but I keep hoping the place has changed for the better.

Maybe becuse you were gone so long, mylot system hasn't updated properly yet or its possible that your posting times is on an awkward time frame, becuse after 12:00 midnight they update earnings, but I'm not exactly sure whats going in your situation you may want to consider contacting mylot about your earning question they maybe able to give you a better explanation.

No one here really knows how mylot figures out our earnings. I guess I really don't care as long as they pay. You may have posted to discussions that got deleted for ome reason or another. We always lose earnings when that happens. Also, it all depends on your activity here and your particpation in discussions. If your posts aren't of a very good quality, then you don't get paid as much, or maybe you don't get anything at all. Just start being active and participate in discussions, and you will get your earnings back. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Yep, I know what you mean. I thought I would make much more than I did and I am brand new here. I wrote 7 discussions and have only made 23 cents. I thought I would have made at least a dollar since I put so much work into writing all that stuff. I am really blown away.
