The whole world started seeming at ease. The streetscape changed from haggered hot look to a joyous wet scene. childeren were dancing in the rain.I can definitely say that the start of this season brings smile to most around us . how does it effect you ?do write in.

I am from Sindhudurga in Maharashtra, which is the only tourism district in India. It rains heavily in our part and it is very pleasant here in the monsoons, especially places like Amboli. I love the rains because there is minimum load shedding of electricity in this season plus festivals like Ganesh Chathurthi falls in this period which is the beauty of rural Maharashtra.
Happy mylotting!

hello renukachohan,
When it's raining, I kept telling my kids that when I was still a kid like them I used to go under the rain with my friends and brother and play with them. Such a nice experienced and enjoyed a lot.
I felt sorry for my kids for they never experienced that in their childhood. There's really a lot difference growing in a city than in a province. We're now living in a city, maybe that's the reason.

I am in the UK and although most of the year are weather is not brilliant I really like it when it rains. It envigorates me especially on a hot day and brings a freshness to the air that I just love to breathe in. For me there is nothing like going outside, standing in the rain and getting soaked through to the skin and feeling completely and utterly alive.

I live in New Mexico and it was appearing like there was going to be a rain storm but then the sun came out. I'm wishing for a downpour because here in this desert state we need the rain from time to time. I can't wait for the downpour. However, I don't like it if it rains for days on end. Then I get very depressed. I know what you mean by once the rain comes its just so beautiful once it stops and it still wet outside the leaves on the trees are wet and the rocks are darker in color. Its just a beautiful sight and the smell is wonderful.

Hey there,
Well as iam from Mumbai too, I know the feeling. Its been a tough summer season for all of us and its so refreshing to c the rain coming. I always like to get wet in the first rain and play with all my friends outside. Also not to forget the smell of wet mud which comes from the first rain. Its jsut a wonderful feeling.
Having nice coffee and some good food with family and friends and enjoying rain is what i always look to do in rainy season .
Though I would like to remind you that this year it is predicted that the rain is going to hit us ( Mumbai ) hard. Harder than 2006 and it is believed that its going to be worse then what we saw in 06. I dont know, but i hope it doesnt happen really. Lets keep our fingers crossed .
Cheers,
Tutul

we have had alot of rain here in nj this past june. it has rained nearly everyday for the past 3 weeks. rain is essential and i do not mind it so it does not bother me in the least. i am not a beach person so it does not affect me one way or the other. i have a sister who loves the beach and lying in the sun so she has not been in a good mood as there have been few beach days due to the rain.

Hello,
Rain sometimes will bring peace to me and I feel a calm. I usually love to sit on my porch and listen and see the sky light up during a storm . I have written some nice poetry once when it was storming. Darken clouds with flases of light in the sky those are the best, and when the sky is near a purple in color. Last week I went to a concert and they were calling for rain and we were sitting in the law, kinda like a concert it the park . Well, when the rain hit down many people were complaining , and running , and saying this ruins it all . I just embraced it and felt like a kid again while letting the rain kiss me . Nothing like dancing in the rain

I love the rain. I could sit outside and just watch the rain pour down. It seems to be so calming. In fact it looks like it may be getting ready to come up a storm here now. I usually turn off the televisions and things just so I can hear the rain. I know most people do that when it storms but to keep lightning from running in and messing them up. But it is really great and I like your wording that you used.

I am from New York state in the USA. It seem to be cloudy, rainy, snowy, and cold most of the time. About ten years ago I had frequent, severe headaches that never seemed to go away, especially in the winter. I realized that the weather was affecting my health. I would also become very depressed. And the more I did not see the sun, the deeper I sunk. Because of this my husband and I decided to move to a warmer sunnier climate. We now live in the Sonora desert of Mexico. I Love the Sun! I couldn't be happier. It rarely rains here. and when it does, it is just a welcome shower.

I usually don't like rain. But when I feel lazy and don't want to go to work or go out of the house, I love RAIN! Hehe!
In general, I just don't like rain especially when I have something to do outside the house!

Hi, that's good to have a rain after so long time of hot days. We here at Malaysia also feeling the same. The hot weather has been torturing us, and it is so uncomfortable for us to be in the hot weather, hotter than what it normally should be. Today afternoon, we have a rain at my work place too. It was quite a heavy one, and we're so glad and feel relieved too to have this rain. The rain had brought us a cooler evening and night time now. Everything seems to be more freshy and lively after the rain. Hopefully we will have more rains too for the coming few days and weeks.

I do really rains,it gives me an excitement and happiness during my childhood days. I can splashed and ran around. But those excitement that i felt during my childhood is not that too intense, coz rains makes me feel sleepy nowadays and stop me from working outside on my garden.
Happy posting.

A part of me loves the rain. The cool environment after all the hot summer. But a part of me is very afraid of it. I don't know why, but it makes me feel lonely. All in all, I like rain cause its the best time to have fun with your friends...
Mumbai loves rain...

hi I am from Punjab. In this part of country electricity is one of the big problem which is faced by the general people in summer season. So if rain comes electricity becomes regular. So rain effects this part of country very much. As per concerned to me, i love to enjoy the rain. So i love this season very much.
