CON air, best nicholas cage movie ever. Do you know any other better movie?

Personal favourite would be Gone in Sixty Seconds, great cast, great story and a great soundtrack. Saying that though The Rock was also a class fillm, and really made you want to know just what was on the microfilm

I really did like the movie Con Air. However Nicolas Cage's accent was annoying at times. I think I liked the movie more because of John Cusack, John Malkovich and Steve Buscemi. So anytime the movie comes on I sit there and watch the entire thing. The scene where the plane is landing in Vegas is the great. The movies I like him in the most is Leaving Las Vegas and 8mm.

Con Air is a great film but within the action niche I would go for Face/Off as it is has a greater plot line and strong performances from Messrs Cage & Travolta. But I find picking one movie for Nicolas Cage is pretty impossible as his filmography covers such a wide range of movies from the beautiful "Captain Corelli's Mandonlin", the touching "Leaving Las Vegas", the quirky "Raising Arizona", the entertaining "National Treasure" and the rather strange "The Weather Man". I suppose if there was one which I keep returning to it is "Matchstick Men" as it features a very clever plot which throws you several curve balls before revealing the truth.

Hi Stephenstreets, I remember really enjoying the comedey Raising Arizona and there was also another comedy movie he was in but I can't remember the title, it was the one where he shared a winning lottery ticket with a waitress. Maybe someone else will remember the name of this movie. I never managed to see Captain Correlli's mandolin to the end as the DVD stuck about half way through but I was disappointed with it as I didn't think it did justice to the book.

yeah con air is a great movie!i know of many nicholas cage movies.but the ones which are brilliant are: 1face/off[a must watch] 2next[a must watch] 3ghost rider(worth watching) 4national treasure(1 & 2 both)[worth watching] 5knowing[a must watch](very good movie) 6world trade center[worth watching] i have seen only these but i am sure there must be many more!! Enjoy!!
