Ok, I jst joined Facebook, I have got some friends that I don't even know, and if you have an email they make suggestions as to who you want to be on friends list. Can someone tell me how Facebook goes, I even have some people here from Mylot, if you want to join me there, let me know. P.M. me or just let me know one way or the other. Can you make money on Facebook, I thought I seen someting where you can make money there? Explain to me how facebook goes?

My opinion and experience with FaceBook.... if you want your personal life and any other part of your life out in cyber space for anyone to see and comment on and know all about .... open a facebook... or My Space.

Oh yeah.. there is more about you on the internet that anyone realizes!! Funny thing that happened to me with Facebook.... I found an old boy friend in Classmates.com. He had a facebook and I didn't .. just not into that kind of thing.. and he said join my facebook and you can see what I do. I update or post every day! I had to open a facebook of my own.. okay I just opened it and didn't put anything on it.. it was only to be able to see his. IT was fine for a bout 2 weeks.. I posted 2 minor, short, 4-5 word comment on his and then BAM!! Apparentlyt he you know what hit the fan! He suddenly took me off and when I asked why.. he said his friends and family were asking to many questions about who I was. I asked him why he didn't tell them the truth.. just an old high school friend that you bumped into in cyber space and we are just reminicing and seeing how things have been for each of us for the past 40 years..no more, no less.. whats the big deal there? But apparently it was to him or so he said. Anyway, no big deal to me.. I didn't really want to do face book anyway. We IM's nearly daily for about a month - was so much fun and reminicing and just getting to know each other again on a different level..cyber friends and all....HOWEVER... several of his "friends and family" people... searched me out and started telling me things about him, asking me "what's the deal with him and me" and things like that! I couldn't believe it! 2, 4-5 word generic comments and they were able to find me!!! And I tried to stay "hidden". I was only on his Facebook to see the pictures he'd post and such. I told him I didn't want to do it, but he talked me into it. IT was the craziest thing ever! I returned emails a time or two to the peoples asking them.. "why are you asking me" or "why are you contacting me?" kind of thing and they wouldn't stop so I told my friend about it.. HE GETS MAD AT ME!!!! I'm going.. "wait, back up the stupid train - THEY contacted ME. THEY said these things about YOU. NONE of it made any difference to me as your/my relationship is our business only. I just passed it along to YOU out of consideration for you to do as you chose with it. How is any of this my fault?" Well, our friendship took an abrupt near halt after that.. and then he went on vacation and just got back today according to Instant message... but he has contacted me. DOnt' know that he will, don't bother me if he doesn't. The point is...Facebook caused a mess.. and literally for no reason and yes... you can find most anyone on the internet if you put in a few good hours!

I belong to Facebook. I was hesitant in joining, but I'm really glad I did. I've met friends on there from school, and from my hometown, who I've lost track of over the years. I've even found distant family members on there, and kids of family members. It's really cool catching up! Lots of fun stuff on there too.
I don't know about how to make any money on Facebook. I do know that if you have a business you can set up a page for that though.
I will send you an email with my name and spelling on it, from my regular email box (not this one). Then you take my name and 'search for friends' and my page will show in a list. From there, you just send me a friend request. I have mine set up so that not just anybody can view my page or 'wall.' Only those who accept the friend request can see the full page or write on the visible wall area. I will email you a list of 'how to stay safe on Facebook' if you want. It's from my Worldstart newsletter and it explains about how to set it up, and all that. (Easier than going through all their freq asked questions and pages and pages of stuff.)

facebook is just social you can talk, exchange forwards, play games and that kind of stuff. because so many people are on it, you can look up the names of people you used to be in contact with and some of them will be on facebook.

I joined Facebook and was happy to find some people I'd gone to school with. Any time you add a friend, all of those people's friends end up in the suggested friends list on your profile. I usually delete them. I haven't spent enough time there to figure out how to do much. Between myLot, answering surveys and playing in Pogo...there isn't much time to add much else.

You cannot earn anything from Facebook. Everybody is correct when they said Facebook is a social networking site where you can find your old friends and chat with them. There are also a lot of application games that you can play while you are online in Facebook. Alot of people say its for people who are bored and you can stay all day logged in to Facebook.

No, Facebook don't pay. They're a social website, where you can keep up with friends, play games, join in various activities like holding a farm, keeping an aquarium and planting a garden. You can share photos and videos with friends, and take all sorts of silly tests, plus send cards, gifts, etc.
I'm a member, and have all my family and local friends on there, but I don't go in often. It does come in handy if you want to know what's going on around you in your daily life though. I have all the village kids on there, as well as friends who have moved away, my siblings and their families. It's ok, but I don't give my proper name on there. I don't fully trust your privacy there, so there a a few little tweaks in my membership.. lol.
Brightest Blessings, my friend. Have fun on facebook and if you want to look me up, my name on there is Moon Child.

I know, those buttons are too close together. It can't be helped, my friend. I've done it... once only, but I'm very careful now as to which button I press. They should just have the positive button on the right and the report button on the left if they really find a need for them. To my mind, they're just a point-scoring button for the baddies, but admin seem to think they need them, so we don't get anywhere asking for them to be withdrawn. I feel they should "vet" discussions themselves, really, but there you go!
I did give you my name on Facebook... it's Moon Child, and I live in the UK. You should be able to find it by that. If I don't hear from you on the site, I'll search for you, and add you to mine. I have so many friends on there, I lost count! Some I don't know but they know friends of mine, so you tend to go around the circuit! Grandpa Bob is on under his proper name, and there are several others from Mylot on there. Enjoy!

I think one of the fun things about Facebook is being able to post pictures and also viewing your "friends" pictures as well. It can be fun site and keep in touch with friends and family. You can also send flowers to others and this helps donate money to a worthy cause and is kinda fun. I am only on Facebook about once a week. Just don't have the time everyday. I now have an IPhone and should get the Facebook app then I could probably participate more often when not at home.

I won't repeat what others have said. However, I do warn against having too many friends on Facebook. Facebook is great for keeping up with people that you want to keep up with. However, you can miss alot of important stuff if you are keeping up with 2000 people that you don't know. I restrict my Facebook to people that I know. I am not intrested in what 1500 of my cyberfriends had for breakfast this morning.

I broke too, and joined Facebook. The games were the clincher! LOL. I'm not sure about making money through the site though, that might only be for businesss. The game applications let you earn money for use in the application, but that's the only 'money making' I have come across.

I am on facebook, its just a social networking site where you can track down friends and family, a way of keeping in touch with people they also have some cool games to play on there too! As far as I am aware there is no way of making money on there. I have a few people from mylot on there too and its cool because I can chat to them from time to time!

Facebook is a social networking website. You cannot make money on the site. It's a nice way to keep in touch with your friends and family. You can see their updates, pictures, and write them messages. There are also other applications to keep you busy. The applications are a lot like games. Facebook is a fun, useful site. I love it!
