computer stuff up

Dont you just hate it when you are in the middle of something and then the computer crashes?For example. You are writing up an essay or something similar to that and you stay up all night. You are getting increasingly tired, yet you press on.
But then, the worst happens. The computer crashes, taking your essay to its grave. All that time for nothing, sacrificed sleep just for it to be wiped.
Another example. You are downloading a particularly big file. You may have slow internet, making this long task even longer. You have to leave the computer on for hours to download it. But then the computer crashes. All the download, wasted, gone, kaput. If you only have a certain amount of downloads usable in a month this can be ver very annoying.
What is the most annoying time a computer has crashed on you?

yes it had to me, and to lots of people here..
i have wasted a lot of time bcoz of that..
in my case its not computer crash but because of sudden power cutts..
specially this happens in monsoon season ...(which has started here)
i have a ups but it cant sort it as i forgets to charge it many time..

my old laptop had crashed so many times recently when i was browsing the net and it really annoyed me... i ask my hubby to format it and hopefully it won't be doing it again... as for typing a document, i always make sure that i save my file regularly so that if the computer crash, i won't lose my data... also, the good thing is MS-Word has an auto recovery featured and i always able to save my file even though my computer crashes... good luck... take care and have a nice day...
