Do you REALLY earn from MyLot??

The answer is Yes! it does help you pay with your internet bills, but electricity, i can say that will be comprised of a lot of electrical appliances you use at home, not just your computer, so it depends. Actually, you earn in Mylot and have friends at the same time. But just to emphasize that online earning will never be like your regular paying job outside. Because earning online is to do some EXTRA dough, not your very source of income. Although I have heard some people depend only on their work online and does not have any work outside. But here in Mylot, they do give us an opportunity to at least earn. And saving a single penny is better than nothing. This site by the way is not a Get- Rich Quick Program. It is a Social networking site that each members share their opinions to other members and be of help. So if you think of money only, then just get a regular paying job.

Yeah, you put forth a nice point. Actualy, not only on mylot , on many money making sites our expenditure is more than earnings. So i dont think we are realy getting profit. But in my case, i use mylot on my phone and its free .Also as i use mobile so there is no tension of electricity bills. Overall, i can say that i realy earn at these money making sites. And you are right, in India Internet is very expensive to use on computer.

Well for me, i got paid three times by mylot, but the money i earned here is just for myself to buy some knick-a-knacks, it's not intended for electric bills and internet coz i got free broadband. I do limit and timed my hours of using the computer so that i don't consumed too much electricity. Happy posting.

Hello handsomerohith!!! Well for me, mylot has been the main source of pocket money. I agree that the earning from mylot is not enough for even paying the internet bill. In my case, just enough for paying the internet bill and no more than that. For the internet, I have my family. But the earning from mylot has been the added benefit to me. This is both for fun and earning. I have been addicted to this site. As I am a student I don't have any other source of income. So though the earning from mylot doesn't really fulfill most of tne necessity. But still this has been the great great help to me. And I am happy and grateful for mylot. Happy mylotting...

I agree with you, handsomerohith . I am here only because I am searching for inspiration for my next article. By many talking with the other people, I can boost my brain to think the ideas. Yes, compared with electricity, the money from here is only a little.

For me, even if I'm not here on myLot, I'd still be online to chat with friends or play online games anyway. It's not like posting here actually increases my expenditures by any notable amount. So for me, since my expenditures due to myLot are approximately zero, any amount I earn will still be more than what I spend to browse the site. C:

mylot gives a great incentive in terms of answering and creating discussions. You said it true that it might not be able to pay for some bills, but it's there for the fun factor. I tend to save earnings from mylot for perhaps a later usage for buying things on the net or something like that. My time in mylot is a bit here and there and I participate a lot while at work, so the bills in that sense is not wasted.. ha.. however, I must say that I've learned a lot from friends here, from their discussions and getting my thoughts focused.. I consider being on Mylot like surfing any other site when being online. If I wouldn't had been on Mylot I would probably have been surfing dozens of websites or social networking sites. At the end of the day it is what I enjoy and I enjoy being on Mylot. So, instead of wasting my time on other stuff online I would rather spend time on Mylot. What's more, you even get paid a little here and there which is an added incentive which wouldn't have been possible had I just spent time on social networking sites or just surfing some website.

I do earn here at myLot because I mostly make posts here when I'm in the office. LOL... Internet surfing is allowed here at my work as long as you could still meet deadlines. I can meet deadlines fine, so I don't feel guilty doing this. But for all those posting on myLot in their homes, I expect they really don't earn anything here, just a reimbursement for their electricity and internet bills, although they may earn money if they have referrals or do tasks because tasks are one of the ways to earn fast here.

MyLot is more for the fun than for earning. If you're the type who spends a lot of time on the computer surfing, chatting, gaming, and other online activities, then earning while doing all of them is better. We pay a monthly fee for the internet connection, so we still get to pay whether we use it or not. As to the electricity, I'll still be using the computer even without myLot, sot it's better to take advantage of the money that goes with myLotting. Happy myLotting!

No, i do not think so...my internet and electricity are all free..so i do not pay anything...the only cost that i have is the time that i spend here in mylot.Happy to be a member of mylot.

Hello handsomerohith =) I have just joined myLot for 2 weeks, so I still did not get any payout from myLot. For me, all along I have to pay for my wireless internet subscription cos my daughters are using the internet for their school work and project and they played alot of online games. For electricity bill, I guess it won't really make alot of impact to my usual bill. For this 2 weeks, what I earn from myLot is knowledge and experience. I get to brush up my writing skills, I learn about many new online money making sites, I get to discuss about topics I am interested and most importantly, I get to interact with people all over the world. Perhaps you're right to some extent. The internet and electricity bills would far exceed the amount we earn from mylot. But what I want to say is if we depend the few bucks paid by mylot for a living, that'd be something impossible though there are some people who depend online earnings for a living. So we'd better consider online money making in a sensible way and just enjoy our time here. Of course, making some bucks is fun too.

It's true that mylot has a turtle-paced earning system, yet I like the idea of spending time here and giving my views.. And ya the electricity bill might not come out to be that mcuh and I am also on the free internet scheme right now, so not a big problem. Even for the people who don't have this facility it would not cost much I presume as mylot pages mostly contain textual data and not loads of pictures, so overall it's a nice deal being on mylot....
