Bathroom Reading, anyone?

This is a really good discussion,because reading is really important when it comes to everyday life,because it can help you learn new things,and broaden your mind so you think outside the box,and it is also a good source of fun and enjoyment especially when you are extremely bored,and it can help pass the time on those extremely cold and rainy days where you do not want to leave the house for any reason whatsoever,and I am sure that different people have different genres and authors that they like to read,and I am sure there are people who like reading while in the bathroom,and then I am sure there are people who do not like reading while in the bathroom,and I can understand that everyone is different,so no two people think the same since everyone has different opinions,ideas,and views,and when it comes to me I do like reading,even though I prefer my fiance to read to me because it makes it easier for me to focus on the book,and remember what is happening in the book since I have a short attention span,and when it comes to the bathroom I do not read books,but I do like to do word search puzzles because they are fun,and they help me not get too bored lol,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

I did toilet reading, LOL. I don't have bathtub in my house. Bathtub is not a culture in my country. Most people in my country do toilet reading.

I don't really read a lot lately but yes, it's nice to read a good book or a newpaper at the bathroom. It's so quiet and relaxing.

I almost always read in the bathroom. Depending on how long you're going to be in there, it's a great way to pass the time. Otherwise you're just sitting there waiting...

Usually when I am reading a book and have to go to the bathroom, I just bring along the book with me and I just go ahead on reading while inside the bathroom. I don't mind reading in the bathroom except maybe for the risk of getting my book wet since we don't have space for a small table or shelf to put the book on.

The bathroom is our favorite place to read, it's peaceful and a place where we are unlikely to be disturbed. I keep sudoko books in both our bathrooms and a variety of books to read, short story variety or magazines--Reader's Digest is one of the best magazines to keep in the bathroom. We refer to our bathrooms as the Library.

funny, it may sound..!! but its one thing i do daily..dont know why but now i know that its very relaxing and i find it great..!! ha ha...mom should not come to know..!!!!

I have read in the bathroom in the past. I think more often then not though that I would be on the sink etc, sitting and reading. I have read whilst doing my business in the bathroom, but I think that it's much more comfortable if it's just going in there to have peace and quiet.

I also find it weird to read in the bathroom. I see my niece read while in the bathroom. I ask them them what are their reasons? They like to make the time reading and utilize it. Especially when they are emptying their bowels. It put their smell away from it and focus from their reading. Anyway, they enjoy it and I am hook into it.

I visit the bathroom for one reason only - well, two, the liquid reason and the solid reason! I can't understand people who read in there, but a lot of people do. My brother even has a magazine rack in his bathroom with a selection of reading matter for different tastes! My husband likes to take a crossword in with him. I love reading and I love crosswords, but for me, the bathroom isn't the right place for doing either.

I usually read magazines in the bathroom, not books. I don't want to get overloaded either, so I may read a few articles in the magazine and look at the pictures.

me! when i read there, i understand what i read better than just by reading in a room. :)

Well me to I read some magazines in the bathroom and sometimes I even read my textbooks in the bathroom. =)))

i do bathroom reading sometimes because it is very relaxing.

well, I used to read there, but between the cats and needing reading glasses, not so much anymore

Instead of reading in the bathroom, I usually turn on my pocket radio and take it into the bathroom when I am using the bathroom. I love to listen to radio for news. Sometimes when I use the school toilet, I bring with a newspaper to read.

In our family, the bathroom is usually referred to as the reading room or the library.This is true in our children's families as well.

I usually don't read inside my bathroom. Mostly because I only visit that room to get myself ready to go out and stuff like that. I think reading is much better in my room, my school, or even the library. I don't own many books, so I read mostly at the library because it's really nice and quiet and the atmosphere seems very good for reading books without any distraction.

I love reading in the bathroom when I can get some peace in my full house, with 5 kids it's kind of hard. When I can I try to read a whole chapter or I read until my but gets tired lol.

i do not like to read the book in the bathroom.if the bathroom decorate like president's room, maybe i have this habit to reading in the bathroom.this is only my joke.in fact, i like to reading out of room,especially in the gardon. when i read the book,i can smell a little something .for example the flavour of the leaves,the mud,the flowers,and so on.this make me feel better and relax. at the same time,there is very quite and could not interrupt my feeling. i like it in this surrounding to reading.
