It seems ever since the news of Michael Jacksons death broke Farrah Fawcett has been pushed to the back burner. For some reason CNN cannot share the spotlight between these two celebrities. CNN was supposed to run a special tonight called "Farrah Fawcett, Remembering An Angel" It has been cancelled and replaced with Remembering Michael Jackson. Larry King made the comment that with the recent death of Michael Jackson Farrah's death is now "a thing of the past" What a slap in Farrah's family's face. RIP Farrah and Shame On You CNN And Larry King!

Farrah?! WHAT ABOUT ED ? like , it sorta bothers me that its hilarious to push Farrah AND ED out the window , for MJ press ?!! like Jeez is the media that disgusting to move along with those to people and act as if it didnt happend for MJ , dont get me wrong here , yeah he changed music among the greats , and became a legend among the legends , but WTF? does anyone care about Farrah and Ed? like there was a minute or 5 on Eds passing , and i didnt even see anything on Farrah , all i have to say is that this is a pure example of how ignorant this world is to the teeth , like im not disrepecting MJ but like there are others who did pass..

Agreed. All I have seen about Ed is the news of his passing and nothing more. The one good thing though is Ed and Farrah's families can mourn in private and not under the media storm. No brother should ever have to face the media just hours after their brother has passed like Michael's brother did tonight. The media is absolutely heartless.

to me both of their deaths are shocking
I remember Farrah from charlie's angels
I was very young when I watched it on TV she was always fresh full of smile
don't know much of her other movies and I don't watch TV here so I didn't know they made that remark
a thing of the past? well so was MJ wasn't he?
he was more well known to some generation probably but there must be people my age who remembers Farrah :(

I was a big fan of Farrah's, may she finally rest in peace. In a way, I am glad someone else came along and stole her thunder because her family can make their preparations without too much media hassle. She deserves to go out quitely and with dignity that the media is sure not to provide. She was a wonderfully brave woman.

that is awful they are only thinking of the profits they are going to make by getting viewers to watch their show

Farrah Fawcet was a wonderful person besides being a celebrity and a part of our life when she was in TV. Michael Jackson, on the other hand, besides his talent had a too oscure side in this personality. I think that , on the long run, Farrah Fawcet will remain in our memory for a longer time.

Oh! did larry king really say that???? That was really very rude of him. I persoanlly feel that media is not taking the right route nowadays and concentrates more on the TRP rates than conveying the truth to the public (the main reason they are here for!).
It is such a shame that BIG media brands like CNN also do this - they could have rescheduled or shifted the program if they wanted MJ's prog inthe prime slot. Really it is a shame. May Farrah's soul rest in peace (and MJ's too)

Yes, I agree with you Marcia! CNN should never do that to anyone! How come the CNN team allow such thing to happen? This is truely irrespectful to Farrah and her family. I'm sure they've be so mad!

I completely agree that the news coverage was poorly done! Such a strange day to have 3 MAJOR Celebrities die and guess the CNN folks just couldn't handle it!

But there were specials on Ed all day yesterday, then Farrah, and unfortunately a bigger star passed away on the same day and it overshadowed her. Sure they should have showed specials on her, but MJ was an international phenomenon... CNN is a business. You have to keep ratings in mind. MJ is going to bring in a lot more viewers than Farrah. Sure it isn't the right thing to do, but since when has big money been about doing the right thing?

I agree that they are showing much more about Michael than they are Farrah. I believe that it is because we all knew that she was ill and was losing her battle. His is so unexpected and he has way more fans. It is such a sad week for Hollywood- Ed McMahon, Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett- how sad!

I think CNN should have done like the rest of the stations and run a special on both of them. I know two or three of them that had an hour on Michael and an hour on Farrah.
