I am watching THE WALL for the first time. It seems to strange. How do you feel about this film?
Do you think it has to do witht he Berlin wall and Nazi Germany?

The movie's got a lot of stronge messages in the film. It is kinda trippy, too. But the thing is I never been able to sit through the whole thing because I find the movie boring. I love the album by pink floyd, love the music, the lyrics, the message. I just don't like the movie. I even saw video of this movie done in concert, and I liked that better than the movie! The movie just lacks action to me, yeah there's a bomb going off here and there, there's a plane crashing, there's a sadistic teacher, I just don't care for it. Maybe it just needs more cow-bell,no?

I have to say that I need to see it again. I think the version I saw was edited for TV, but it is definitely thought provoking, and made me very uncomfortable at times. Like wtf... grinding scary pink children into meat? Very creepy. I do have to say that typically I like movies that creep me out, but this one is just really different.

I forgot about that part, I believe I saw that part on VH1 classic late one night. I guess I've seen too many low budget horror movies to let this scene phase me. Thanks for responding to my comment!

It will grow on you, it helps if you like Pink Floyd's music a lot first.

I love that movie! It's totally strange, but that's really the point of it; kind of a trippy movie. Some of it has to do with the Nazis I think. But I think that they said it has something to do with their childhoods a little bit. I think that it just has to deal with a lot of different life issues. It's a real artistic and creative film. I really love it and I really love Pink Floyd. They are just amazing! :D

Pink Floyd The Wall is a great movie. I have seen it many times and still I enjoy. First time I saw it I didn't know anything about the background of the movie.
Mostly it's about Roger Waters life and his relationship to his father, school, women and music on stage. There's a lot of aspects to it and I think everyone can get something personally out of it. At the same time there's a lot of statements and philosophic viewpoints. A very clever movie and food for thoughts.
