hello!
here's yet another droplet picture, from the 2nd shooting session with water. Well, actually it's the 3rd session, but my first attempt was quite...primitive, if i can call it that way (meaning i used water on water and just the camera's pop-up flash, as i didn't have the sb-600). This was shot at f/8, about 1/250 shutter speed, and for the lighting i used my sb-600 off-camera, lighting a sheet of paper and some coloured plastic. Also, this was not water on water, but water on plain, hard surface. Water is such an AMAZING subject to photograph. I'm working on a better, easier to install setup, and hope i'll get more documentation on water, so i'll get more interesting images.
Until my next image, thanks for looking, and please leave a comment.
Also, there are 2 more photos of water splashes i haven't (yet) put on mylot, but are on my photoblog...if you wanna check'em out, here's the link to my blog: http://emtee-photo.blogspot.com
Almost forgot... here's a "description" to this image: There he is, above all, rising towards the skies in enlightening sermons... but folowing The Prophet is only...darkness.

loooooool... one thing's for sure, i didn't use blood! haha! to be honest, that's about the least of my favourites so far, too...and it's not because of the colour. But i did wanted to post a photo with the after-splash look, too. I hope i'll get my setup up and running pretty soon, so i'll be able to do splash in a splash, too...
thanks for commenting.
take care!

Hey! It has been a long time since we had a chat :) Ok.....i visited your blog and saw the amazing droplet shots and guess what i first thought that they are CGI.
Amazing - have your tryed pouring water into the goblet or dropping an ice into the whine - i have and i wish i could show you a few of them - though these are very common concepts for freezing shots.
I did see your other landscape pictures - Lovely. So where did you take them?
