Way back 18 December, 2008, I traveled from Middle East to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE to visit my place in Philippines. While on airplane a woman, with red coat, clips on hair like a teenage girl had caught the attention of all the passengers, including the airplane crews and stewardess, can't help to conceal their smile on their lips...
At last after long time of travel for about 8 hours past I reach my native land Philippines, I made a glance and picked the booklet i got on the seat where the old woman sat.
After 80 minutes, when I reached our home, I opened the booklet of the old woman I saw her pic and her profile list! To my surprise the old woman is living in the same city where I use to live. It took 3 days before I go to the address.
The daughter of the old woman was sobbed when I gave her the booklet. The old woman died on the same day we arrived from abroad! She has a colon cancer.
Now we are very good friends with Dina the daughter of the old woman, she lend me some amount, from here inherited money. I have now my small grocery store. My life has changed since I met Dina.

Amazing. You never really know how someone whom you randomly meet could change your life forever. But then again, isn't it just destiny? ^_^
Hmmm...Best experience in travel... Not actually the best but it was definitely memorable for me. I went to Dumaguete, Philippines with my aunt to visit my uncle's family there. You know, just for a change of environment. We stayed there for a week because it kept raining there for days straight! @_@ Now when we got home, I got sick. I had tummy flu and fever for more than 3 days. When we went shopping one day, I just cannot take the pain in my stomach that we decided to go to the hospital. @_@ I was admitted immediately and had lab tests and stuff. The best part for me was, I got an IV line hooked on me! It was the first time in my entire life I had one! LOL! In the end, what I had was some sort of an amoebeasis that I got from the water/food in Dumaguete. @_@ i know, I know. This experience is shallow, even to the point of dumb, but it was memorable for me because one wish of mine had already come true. LOL weird, huh? ^_^ :p

because i'd been healthy for so long, i wanted to experience what it was like to have a Dextrose. and now i know. @_@ it limits your movement, but it's ok. my wish came true anyway! wahahahaha ^_^
PS. dont forget to rate and comment! thanks! ^_^

What a story. Wow, it amazing. I'm speechless. You are fortunate.
Me? When I went visiting Singapore on June, my friend make me a remark that hurt me. But then, I sat beside a tourist from London and we talked. I was so happy with myself because I can converse goodly with that tourist. My friend do not say anything because she do not used to speak in English. Somehow I felt proud with myself. I learn people can say whatever they want, don't bother with it, because me myself have something that I can feel proud with. Well, I can converse in English and the native speaker can understand me as we laugh a lot during the conversation.

Yes, since English is a universal language, an ability to talk and understand this language will enables you to link in any corner of the globe. One who is fluent in English has a potential in various opportunities not only in the realm of business but of winning friends. In every travel there is new things you would expect, as what have happened with you and your friend!

WOW! What a story!! It's funny how life just sort-of does these lil favors when we need them, huh? Blessings indeed.
Well I hope you never went back to Abu Dhabi - I'm fairly certain you weren't treated well there. Isn't that typical of Filipinos working abroad?
I'm Filipino (filipino american, I guess, but whatever - I don't really care for that term), and definitely brings me joy when filipinos are helping each other out. Maybe you should get that story published somewhere -as a tribute to her family.

Hi khayshenz@_@, I was lucky to have a kind educated Arab employer in Abu Dhabi, actually I'm still interested to go back and work there since Dina offered her help so I preferred to give a try here in Philippines, as a matter of fact my small business is doing well so far plus I found some internet sources of income some were generating good profit and yield fast but still it is inevitable that some sites i used to work were scam@_@!
Thank you so much for responding!@_@
