I was just thinking about good and bad teachers I had, and why some were good and some were bad and how when I teach I can have the good qualities without many bad ones (we're human so we all some bad qualities...). Anyway, I was trying to remember all of my teachers name to see if I could. I can remeber all the names from kindergarten to high school. Funny enough, I can not remember the name of some of my college professors and I am in college right now. I'm 22. How old are you and can you remember all the names?

Hi smartie, I couldn’t remember all the names of my former teachers but I know clearly the teachers who had taught me before. It’s rather difficult to remember all the teachers’ names for I had come across so many teachers during my kindergarten, and both my primary and secondary school days. I could still remember the names of most of my teachers as well as the appearances, voices and their respective unique ways of teaching Of course I did encounter a couple of teachers who were not good in their professional job. Yeah, there were some who were really bad temper when couldn’t carry out their task smoothly. Anyway I respect all the teachers that had taught me before even I couldn't remember all the names of them. Happy posting and have a nice day!

Thanks for the compliment smartie It’s really interesting to read the story about some of your former teachers here. There were two teachers during my primary school days that treated us so nice. They rewarded us for our good representation in their subjects taught by taking us to have a stay by the beach for a night near their hometown. It’s really a wonderful and unforgettable remembrance that we will remember forever. Yeah, for that was the first time we saw the fascinating sea and the seascapes there. Of course we enjoyed playing in the water as well as the beach heartily the whole day. I would like to express my gratitude for awarding the BR and I'm really

Wow, you have a better memory than me. I can remember names and most faces. I'll admit, I have forgotten what some of them looked like. I also remember my teachers before like fourth grade seeming to be 7 feet tall, which I know is not true. lol I can not remember voices, though, unless I really liked or disliked the teacher. I also remember two so so teachers, because Mrs. F and Mrs. P sounded exactly alike. Mrs. F stayed in the basement, where it was coolest, and only taught computers. When we first heard Mrs. P speak, she was only there my last year, we thought it was Mrs. F at first. They were both kind of mean, though.

I'm 33, and no I have to say that I cannot remember all of my teachers names. As far as elementary school goes I cannot remember my 2nd grade teacher's name nor my 3rd grade (or was in my 4th grade?) teacher. No matter how hard I try I just can't remember their names! LOL As for junior high, I don't have to remember their names as I have my year book from that school. Yep, I still have it after all these years. LOL I can't remember all of my teachers names in high school, at least not my freshman year as I skipped school so much. The last 3 years of high school was easy as I only had one teacher. LOL

some say that teachers are the second parents of our life, they teach us to learn and grow up to be who we desire to be in the future,if it ain't for teachers then no matter hoe hard we try we can never succeed in our goal to be who we aim to be,there has been teachers since we were about 2-3 years old. at that time we didn't even knew what are teachers for, but slowly we grow up under their shadows and come to understand the true meaning of a teacher. since child till now there are thousands of teachers who has taught us,but we cant remember all of their names, rather i don't even remember their faces lol.we students have our own likings for our teachers, we might love some and hate others, this keeps going on and on.so our love towards our teacher is shown through how much we remember about them.so this leads that whether we forget our teachers name or faces, we must never remove them from our mind and memories.

I wish I still had my junior high year book. Some of those people I knew since fourth grade, but mine was soft cover and started to tear about five years ago. I kept wanting to fix or do something with it, but it got worse and worse. So, about two years ago, I threw it out. It couldn't be saved and the pages were starting to fade.

I know what you mean. I was also thinking, in my case, some of the proffesors are hard to remember because some of my classes were online. So, I never met the person. Thus, I never had to address them, or bother to learn their name.

How were your grades? I find teachers tend to harder graders on those who don't conform.

Funny enough, my first and second grade teacher were the same person. She was a second grade teacher who had decided to, or was replaced, teach first. Then after our class, she was put back in second. So, we had her two years in a row. I didn't really like her.

To be honest, I can't remember a single one. It's been 24 years since I was last in school...I can barely remember the last school I attended. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I can remember most of my secondary school teachers, not not those in primary school's. The very good one and the very bad ones are always remembered. I remember a very good English teacher who is working very hard and ask us to write almost twice a week, which means she has to mark and correct about 100 writings a week (for only 1 class!). Still, she wrote a lot of comments in our writing (sometimes even longer than what we have written), I learnt a lot from her indeed.

I graduated from high school thirdy years ago! I can't remember all my teachers names. I do remember alot of my high school teachers. With grade school I can remember all of them. Some I rather forget and some I do want to remember! I wasn't a student who loved school and never went on to higher education.

i can not remember the names of any of my teachers form high school. I think I remember a few of the grade school teachers, but not high school. I was too worried about getting good enough grades to get the heck out of there. I had a tough time remembering their names when I was still in school because of that. That's not to say they were bad teachers. No matter how I felt about them personally, I'm sure somebody out there liked being in their classes. I just had a lot on my plate in high school. I had tunnel vision the whole time. It was all business for me. I'm glad it's over, and I don't have to do another year of it. Freedom is so grand!

The funny thing is I felt similar to you when I was also in high school, but I like high school better than middle school. I hated eight grade. I was so eager to go to college. Now, I have one more year of college left, it's taking me five years to finish, and I'm so eager to leave college!

Me smartie0317 still I can remember my past teachers duing that days. I did not forgot its because they contributed much in my whole life as a person. Even tho they are so strict enough that is their way and style of teaching. As I grow old I can now understand it as depending on their attitudes. Not all are like that most of them are so loving and nurturing as to make as a good person when time comes.

Thanks for replying. As someone who will be a teacher in less than a year, I have met many teachers and many people who will one day become teachers. They all have their own styles. Some, I can see why they chose that style for themsevles, and others I don't think will do well. :(

Hmmm, I'm 15 and I can remember most of them I think. I can remember the ones in the school I'm in now because... well I'm in it now, but I can't remember my primary school teachers. Way too far back. Well, not that far back only like 5 years or whatever but I have a memory like a fish. Only the ones that I really like I remember. Like Miss Morgon in my primary, she used to have this huge teddy bear that if we were good we could take it home for the weekend ;D

What grade did Miss Morgon teach? She sounds lovely. I might steal that idea when I start teaching. I find it weird, we spend a whole year, well broken into parts, with a person as a child and sometimes we can not remember their names.
