Who is your favorite American Idol?

I've only started following this reality show three years ago, but I know that the show has produced several great talents since the first season.
The airwaves have been dominated by some of the idol winners and non-winners alike, with some of the non-winners even gaining more popularity than those who got the top spot.
I like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. I also like David Cook and now Kris Allen. But my favorite is Chris Daughtry.
How about you, who is your favorite American Idol?

i really like kelly clarkson,she is a real star. and i also like her song since you been gone.

Chris Daughtry is one of my favorites. So what if he didn't win American Idol he is still a great singer. He should have won that year that he was on American Idol. I also like Carrie Underwood pretty good and now Kris Allen and David Archuleta I thought he should have won last year.

Great choice! That makes us two fans on the opposite sides of the globe. Not winning the contest did not deter him(Chris Daughtry) from pursuing his passion. He actually became an inspiration to those who tried the AI in the later seasons as they came to realize that it's not the end of the road for those who lost... Carrie Underwood, what can I say - she's just awesome! Happy myLotting!

welcome to the wolderful world of mylot dory, nice name. i think i will say it is kelly clarkson and david cook if you will ask me anout winners. i agree with you that i like daughtry as well. even he is not the winner of american idol. some of the winners just win then are no longer active. or maybe they are active but not as popular as kelly. i am not a resident of the USA but here at our country kelly and david are popular.

You're right. Winning the top spot at American Idol does not really guarantee worldwide popularity, in the same manner that being booted out early on does not mean there's no place for him/her in the music industry. Daughtry is one good name that comes to mind. Cheers!

I love Carrie Underwood! She was the reason that I have come to appreciate country music. Well, you see in our country, country music is really not known, all we know are pop, rock and alternative. LOL. I love her songs, and her voice is really really beautiful. After her, I think I like Kelly Clarkson second.. Her songs makes me want to be a singer. LOL. I love singing her songs when I'm alone in the house or when I'm taking a bath. It just energizes me.. =)

Hi Ingkingderders,I love Carrie Underwood too. There are several songs I can think of this very moment that made her really famous. I didn't know she was from American Idol until I started watching the show. Kelly Clarkson is just as fantastic, she never fails to amaze me with her kind of music... Perhaps it's about time you bring your singing prowess outside of the bathroom, good idea, is it? lol. Happy myLotting!
