Are you afraid of thunder and lightning?

yup!!m not afraid of thunder and lightning......but i hate the sound...that thunder creates......during night times espicially...i can say...cuz it disturbes our sleep....its sounds just like a atom bomb....which i hate it completely!!but lightning doesnt matters....it will be so adventures to see during night times....!!

I am not afraid of thunder and lightning. I like the sound of thunder but when it is too close it can be disconcerting. I do not like strong winds, though. Cheers!!

I am not afraid of thunder or lightning. Growing up I didn't know anyone who was afraid of it either however I have heard of people being afraid of it. I used to live in a big city that never lots power for more than 20 minutes ever, due to bad weather. Then I moved to a small fishing village where people are very afraid of thunder and lightning. Where we can easily loose our power for more than two DAYS. I know a couple people who were actually struck by lightning. So though I am still not scared of lightning and neither are my children, I totally understand how someone could have a fear of it.

i am not afraid of thunder, instead i am afraid of lightning cause it can kill people. thunder is just like a loud roar in the sky, only if lightning is like being electrocuted by a 1.5 volts battery then i won't be even afraid of it LOL! my fiance on the other hand like otherwise, when there is lightning, she feels like there is a pictorial. she feels like there is someone trying to get her picture.

When I was a kid, I was very scared of lightining and thunder. Now, I am kind of used to it. My sister is 23 years old and still she is scared of those. Whenever there is a thunder or ligtining she will go inside the bed room and lay on the bed inside a blanket. When she was a kid, she used to go under the coat whenever they occur.

Yes but I more scare of the thunder. When it happens right over the house it really shakes me up. The noise can be astounding. If I'm outdoors then I scare of the lightening more, because you can then get hit by it.

I am also quite disturbed by thunders, due to their sudden loud sound all of a sudden. It is very difficult to fall asleep in this situation. What I do is to use cover my ears with pillows or ear studs if it's very loud. I don't like lightning because it's dangerous, I try not to go out if I can because you can get hit by it.

Actually I even like the sound! I´m not afraid of them at all, even once I was alone in Orlando when hurricane Charlie came passing by. I kept my head, filled every pial with water, cooked everything I had, brought in the terrace furniture and made myself comfortable in the second bathroom which had no windows. I am very much afraid of earthquakes though. Maybe it´s because my country is an earthquake country. I´m posting a picture of the beginning of my encounter with Charlie

i am terrified of it .. all because one day i was in the shower and it thundered wicked loud and the lighting brighten up the bathroom so much.. i was so scared that day. like dont get me wrong the lighting is pretty awesome to watch but obviously if im not alone.
