So You Think You Can Dance? I love that show. I think it's one of the best reality shows on TV. The dancers are fabulous, and the judges are kind and give constructive criticism. Does anyone watch this show?

I have watched that show several times. I have not kept up with it recently though. I have just been too busy. I like how some of these people learn how to dance and they become very good at it.

I enjoy it, too, but it is a bit Hollywood, meaning that they play with who gets on or not. My one co-worker made it to Vegas this year. I have friends whose children made it and know one of the guest judges/choreographers. There is a lot of stuff that they must do to make it more dramatic. You can be a great dancer but they like the ones with a bit of drama in their lives. They will also pass through some not so good dancers, and pass up some really good ones, to make the show more interesting. I have become a little annoyed with some of the judge's comments, too. Since I not only teach dance but judge dance competitions, and we must do critiques, I can never accept anyone who will belittle, insult or embarrass someone. There are positive to ways to critique someone and one night Mia, and another Tyce (his real name is Keith), were both way overboard and I found that unacceptable. You can tell someone that they need work or are not that good in a nice way. Something like, "I see that you have a lot of passion but it is important for you to go back and take more classes to bring you up to the level of this competition." That has a bit of praise in the beginning, opening them up to "hear" you. When you start out with an insult, they just shut down. Older kids and teens watch this show and adults should be setting an example of how to talk to others. I have told my dance students that it is not right and that I will never talk to anyone like that. Other than that, I do enjoy the show and love it when someone that I know is up there trying to get to the top. Since I am in the dance business, I have seen people whom I have watched in dance competitions over the years, and see them grow up and make this show and it is very exciting to have someone you know or sort of know, make it to the top twenty.

This is one of my favorite shows to watch! The kids are so good this year. I haven't picked a favorite yet. I can't wait for the next episode. I loved the dance that Randi and Evan did to Mia Michaels choreography. And the girl with the torn tights who was rock n roll and her partner was hip hop, they were also fantastic. I need to try to remember names!

I like that show but I think that the better show is dnacing with the stars. That is really a pretty good show. i also like America's got Talent because that is the summer replacement and it is alos a very good show with a lot of talented performers on it.

Sorry, I dont think the words 'best' and 'reality show' belong in the same sentence However, I dont knock anyone who does like them. It would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing. I hope you continue to enjoy it
