Ok I was on one of my PTC sites and I opened an advertisement and then my computer crashed so I had no choice but to reboot and turn my computer off, but when I turned it back on (I could not log in to any of my online accounts) and I scanned my computer with avira antivirus and it found a virus, but the strangest thing is I couldn't log into any of my accounts, has this ever happened to you have you ever been unable to log into your online accounts after a temporary crash?

I believe in temporary crash or perhaps a virus or a glitch must be forming. I used to have script error on Facebook a month or so ago and it was so frustrating, amidst me playing games. Some older version PC cannot take such game scripts, I believe and thus, causing a momentary relapse. Usually, I would reboot. If such thing happens to you again, it's best to log off from the internet as fast as possible to disrupt virus loading. As long as it's not yet infected your hardware. (should there be such attacks)...

may be the virus might have corrupted yur browser.. so you are unable to access any website.. if you are using internet explorer6 .. its recommended you download internet explorer 8 from microsoft.com if you are using mozilla firefox, try updating to latest version same conditions apply for opera and others..

Never experienced that although I got infected by a virus. Maybe you got the trojan type of virus then got all your passwords from your different accounts you have. they may have all your accounts and changed it to theirs so that you cannot get access to it anymore. But I am not sure why this is happening to you right now but my theory might prove to be true. Maybe you could consult that in your local computer repair.

By account, you mean windows account or mylot account? I assume it's latter because you were able to scan computer with antivirus software. If so, you could try to clean IE cookies and temporary files, etc.

I mean that I could not log into any of my favorite websites including mylot, I kept trying but nothing worked until after I shut my computer off, then it started rebooting itself then after that it worked fine, but before that I could not log into anything no matter what I did I put the correct passwords in but for some reason it didnt work but thankfully everything seems to be working ok now but at first I was really concerned becuse I couldn't figure out why that happened but I think my antivirus found it and moved it to quarantine.

clear all temporary files, cookies from your computer and than try again. if it doesn't work try reinstalling your browser
