zzzoooozzzzz The holes You are talking about are ports. Use port scanner to see if there're some unsafe ports left open. If there are it's you proof :)

zzzoooozzzzz CMOS is the BIOS setup. When you turn on your computer it's written something like that: " press del to enter setup" or " press F12 to enter setup". entering this setup you can set your video card as your main video adapter

zzzoooozzzzz It can be a problem of your mother board. maybe it can't see the video card you're installing. When you plugged video card in your mother did you change CMOS settings? you have to switch from integrated videocard to newly installed. Try it. PS. you can tell...
