How Many Hours A Day Do You Sleep?

Here it is 2:47AM Eastern Time and I am still up! I have been up since 6:32AM! I will probably go to bed after I finish going to TrekPay and clicking out 30 or 40 sites so I get my days credits in. That should take me about an hour. So I should get to sleep about 4:30am. Then I gotta get back up at 8:00am cause I got to be at the docs at 9:00 am and I won't get to be till the same time tonight. Now I figure for my age that is pretty darn good and I go like that every day. And I am sick. I just have to wear myself out in-order to get any sleep. The pain is so unbearable I can't sleep. They have me on the strongest I will take and they want to put me on stronger but I would not be able to function at all. SO how many hours do you get a day?

Well I am 25 and I get about 12 hours of sleep a day. I dont work and I get on the internet alot and over here it is 2:49 a.m. so right now I got to go look at a job interview at 4:30 a.m. so I wont be goin to bed till probably about 6 or 7 a.m. and wont get up til like 1 or 2 p.m. so I get pretty good sleep. Not when I should but I still get it. Well gotta go laters
p.s. sorry that you need so much medication to sleep!! That must be horrible!!! I can't even swallow pills so I haven't ever taken any just liquid meds. but hardly even that cuz i dont get sick often.

I never needed alot of sleep! It must have been my metabolism. I think it is because I have always worked the night shift. I think that is why I can't sleep at night. And then I can't sleep durring the day. So I kinda take cat naps. lol 3 hours here 3 hours there. So maybe 5 hours in 24 hours. I really doesn't bother me. And some days I can go the whole 24 without sleep. And then on to make it a whole 38 straight. Then I sleep about 7 hours straight. At the most 9.

Hi cookiecrumbles! I am usually up till all hours of the night
myself! I have insomnia so it is really difficult for me to
fall asleep! If I do fall asleep I am up in about 1 1/2 hours
which is really annoying! Sometimes I will walk around my
apartment and then try to go back to sleep! But, other times
I go back and turn on the computer again which really ends
up keeping me awake even longer! Sometimes I don't get to
bed until early in the morning and then I sleep until late
in the afternoon if I don't have any appointments to go to!
Then I start all over again the same way! I just can't get
myself straightened out! If you are up late look for me on
mylight of Yahoo Chat! I'm usually here!

From what I understand from the doctor. He has told me, go to bed at a normal hour. If you have not fallen alseep in twenty minutes get up. He said to then wash your head with a warm wash cloth. An place a warm cloth over your temples and eyes for 5 minute and don't turn the TV back on. Then try to go back to sleep. If you are not able to sleep again after 30 minutes he said to take one aspirin. he said that one aspirin will help lower your blood pressure just enough to relax your body enough to finally sleep. Try that. It doesn't work on me I have way to much pain. But maybe you. Good luck:)

Welcome to mylot, and let me warn you. Now that you have joined mylot you may not be getting as much sleep!!! lol This site is very very addicting!! I find that I spend at least 6 hours here. Here are some pointers. Write your discussions on things you know about. Try to make them at least 5 to 8 sentences. One line discussions are OK, but don't make you as much money. Adding a photo to your discussion adds more to a discussion. Try to write at least 5 topics a day. Now if I would take my own advice I would have made ten dollars by now. lol Not really. I have been here 7 days and made $2.57 which I guess is ok. Like I said if I followed my own hints it would be much more. But again welcome and how old are you?

Sounds like you're a night owl too! I concentrate a lot better at night and do a lot of my work until the wee hours of the morning. Usually I switch off my computer around 1 or 1:30 a.m....take a bath..then veg out in front of the TV for awhile. I usually listen to the repeat of the Oprah show then and later on World News Now--sometimes I hear a story on it that will inspire me to start a discussion so zap over to the computer again and start one
As for how many hours I sleep--too many I think--I used to function well with only six hours, but I swear ever since I got my new bed and mattress last August I find I'm sleeping 7 or 8 hours...then on days I want to stay home even more--anyway usually in bed by 5 in the morning (sometimes later)...oh and since you're asking about one's age...I'm 53

I sleep 8 hrs. or 7 hrs. I can't sleep late because of my health condition I need to force myself to sleep early at night. I'm 26 yrs. old I don't take a nap in the afternoon that's why I'm very sleepy at night. It depends on how tired I am, there's a time that I can't sleep if I too tired and there's a time that my sleep is very deep and I woke the next day disoriented.

I work 3 jobs so as you can imagine I don't get alot of sleep. I get anywhere from 3-6hours of sleep a night and belive me I am tired. The money is good though. I really miss my beauty rest. All this working is wearing me out . I am lucky if I get 1 day off. I miss going to sleep and being able to sleep in late.
