Is mylot a time waster?

I agree that as a money making venture it is a waste of time! However that's not the reason I'm on here. I just think it's a great site to share ideas and opinions on and learn from. It's a good place to make new 'friends' and to talk to people. Due to the nature of my job I don't see as many people as I'd like and the computer helps me stay in touch with family and friends that are a long way from here. Anything earned here is just 'a little bonus' and it will be a while before I build up enough to reach the pay-out I've set. One advantage of this site though is that you can find out which sites are worth going on and which should be avoided if your goal is to make money. Other members of the community will tell you their experiences if you ask!

You are right, my friend, I too cannot make any bucks from this site. However, I am not leaving because my purpose of staying here is not for money, but to gain knowledge and share my other online opportunities to others. I don't think that myLot is a time waster at all. I am not here for the money, but enjoy the conversations and discussions I have had with other members. Admittedly it is fun to watch the cents grow into dollars etc. but it's not my main purpose in being here. - Derek

Mylot is more enjoyable if you do it for the discussions rather than the money.

Nope, i think u are wrong here.. I dun think mylot is a waste of time, because i have been a member here for 2 years and more.. So far, i have been earning money from it regularly throughout my time in here.. Alot depends on your attitude to things and how u wanna make full use of it.. If one has got the wrong attitude, then they will think this site is a waste of time ^_^

No mylot is not a time waster.Its is a place for us to share information.It is also a place to get our doubts answered.It is a legit site that is paying members on time.Some people work on high earning sites later they don't get the money.It is also a good place to make a lot of friends.I login daily to mylot to see the new discussions and respond to them.

I understand your opinion. But let's say you are looking for a job and have enough free time, it is better being in here, trying to a least pay a small bill than watching tv and not earning anything. So my opinion is I am not wasting my time. I am earning some money and might not be lots and lots of it but it is something I can use vs being on other sites wasting my time for nothing.

It would be pleasant to talk and share with people with a being-paid prospect. For me, it's a great surprise. The first time I knew that there is actually forum which pays you to post, I just couldn't believe it. I've been here for almost a year now and I enjoy posting and sharing ideas with mylotters whenever I feel happy to. I don't take earning as my primary goal though. I think posting merely out of money making idea is not a good idea and that wouldn't help in the quality of the posts either.

No I would call mylot more of a time killer for me. I use mylot when I'm extremely bored or trying to get tired enough to fall asleep before I go to bed. I personally like using mylot and I think that the earning part of mylot is great and I've earned money and that's what I'm concerned about. Getting paid for the typing and things I'm doing not how fast I can do it. At least with mylot you know you will get paid.

we should not think that participating in this site is a time waste. we can get more friends from different countries and we can chat with them and can take any advice from them.we even can earn some little amount from this site. if we answer more posts with good quality , we can get more cents daily and simply we can earn minimum amount from this site. this site pays us money every month prompty ,and it is not like other fraud sites ,who don;t pay us ureally. if we want to earn more from this site,we should answer more tasks .this is the only way to get more money from this site. so if anyone want to earn more,they should answer more tasks here in this mylot. but as u told ,if we want to share ideas or take others advices,this mylot is a good site to share.

I don't think that the majority of the people on mylot actually are here for the money. I do think people are here to find and chat with people that do make money online and the networking aspect here at mylot is great!

Mylot is a time waster if you're here just to make money. It's going to take you forever to earn a few bucks. However, I can see it helping out people in other countries where $10 will go much further than, say, here in the West.

To me it is a waste of time, because I'm not a writer who can go on and on about one subject and I'm a terrible speller, lol. I've made a total of 41 cents since I've been on here what a joke. So my lotting isn't for everyone, but I like reading the responses to some of the discussions.

I think if you want to mnake quick money on mylot, it is definitely a waste of time because you need to put a lot of effort on it as you mentioned, post like crazy everyday. I'm soending lots of time on mylot everyday becaue I dont' work and don't have any income; I figured mylot is a good place to surf on, chekcing out some interesting topics, making few bucks per month so why not? I'm sure it won'thelp whole heck of a lot on any bills or food groceries shopp but it's just something for me to do at home. :-)

You are right. I will take the space to make more friends and good way to study english.

I also feel that it is a waste of time because the money is being deposited in very small amounts and I have no idea when it will reach $10. But I read in other posts that some people are making good money by increasing their participation.

Hmm, personally for me being here on mylot is a great avenue for me to practice my written communication abilities, and for me to be able to gain new information, and of course interact. I don't consider this as a time waster since even if I am just new here, I am starting to enjoy participating in discussions and exchanging ideas with other people.
