Today I went shopping with my mum and aunt. Until today did I know how crazy the woman would be if she faces the bargain sale. All I could see was people, peole and people, 90% of them are female. No matter they were young or old, they just focused on one thing. That was taking the production they like before other people strech out their hands. When I was among them, I even felt they had lost their head. Although most of the productions were 50% off, they were still very, very expensive.
I have been considering the reasons why woman has a crazy desire of shopping. Maybe they have accumulated much pressure or they have less resistant to the productions they like, especially they are on bargain sale.

Haha, you remind me the thing i experienced last weekend. That day, my girlfriend want to buy a trousers for me.She was attracted to a discount store. There were so many people. She was so crazy, cant wait to choose the bargain sale. But i hate the crowds of people,it is too noisy. At last, we nearly quarreled, and we didnt bought anything because of too many many many people. It was terrible!

hello Icicle113,
You are so right about that. It's just fine to go shopping though if you really have the budget for if not, you really are in trouble paying the bills. Going to the mall will really make you buy for something even if they are not on sale yet. So, better go there if it is really necessary like if there is an occassion. This way, you can save money.

Yes, I love shopping. When I was still single I'd look out for mallwide sales and together with my friends, hit the shopping mall all day. We'll buy anything like there's no tomorrow. But that has changed drastically when I got married and had children. Now I still go shopping but this time most of the items I buy are for the kids, the house and for my husband. Of course I shop for myself too but spending is more well-thought of, and I don't do impulse buying anymore.

Hi there,
I'm a man and I like shopping.. :)
But that doesn't mean I shop a lot
I hold myself to not become an impulsive buyer and only get what I really need at the time..
I always hold myself up for buying clothes till the sale season .. ;-P
I really have a limited budget and I have to allocate my money carefully
So the sale is really a good bargain for me where I can have cheaper stuffs.. :)
I also realized that not all sale are good bargains
That's the time where we have to be wiser
Thanks !

It might sound crazy, but as a woman i hate shoping. especially if there are a lot of people in the store. My brother told me that the difference between a man and a woman in shoping is that women buy things because they are on sale and then think what they will do with the item, men think what they need and then go to buy it. they are willing to pay twice the amount for something they need, while women are willing to pay half the price for something they don't need.

Men have many hobbies, such as drinking, smoking, sports or TV games. Unlike men, women only pursue beauty, so they spend a lot of time to make themselves beauty. The physical outlooking is not easy too change, so the clothes is the best way. In a word, women like beauty~

Yeah, you are right. It is true that women are really quite crazy of shopping, they could walk and walk, step into shops one by one, not miss even one. They could spare whole day shoppoing. I am really afraid of it when I have to come out to go shopping with my mother.

I like to shop, especially on the sales periods. I always find that I cant miss out any good bargains. Lately I focus buying things for my little kids.

I don't enjoy shopping unless I know that there is a great bargain to be had. I do not shop the 50% off sales unless there is something that I absolutely need and most of the time that is for my children. I shop end of season sales when items are priced at 75% off or more but will never try and kill myself to grab that last designer shirt off of the rack before someone else. And women definitely are not the only ones who have a desire to shop. If you put my husband in an electronics store where there were discounts to be had he would go crazy grabbing as much stuff as he could. Everyone has their own thing, or hobby, that they are crazy about and while you may not understand their need to jump over everyone for a cashmere sweater they may not understand your need to buy 100 spools of thread at the craft store for your sewing hobby because it went on a great sale. To each his own I guess.
