I never used to think that I was a superstitious person. I wasn't born in the U.S. but I came at an early age so I was pretty americanized as opposed to my family. I was in my country of birth and walking down a dark dirt road when I saw an older woman walking. We are a trusting people who like company so I ran to catch up to her. I couldn't catch up even though I was running and she was walking very slowly. And she was always the same distance ahead....

Its totally a different opinion with different people,if u sense in your mind that you should not do and by mistake u do it then the sense of supertitious starts
so its the mind who controls all such things
I heard a few people saying "MIND IS MONKEY BODY IS DONKEY"
The meaning of this is your mind acts like a monkey which all ways does some or the other thing but what about the donkey
Donkey does the work what is owner tells the same is the case here
If u dont get any point feel free to post i shall be more clear

no i am not at all superstitious. i like to deal in facts and things that are proven. i think being superstitious is a waste of time and energy and that it instills unfound fears in people who could otherwise go about their lives without the added baggage of superstitions.

I am its because my parents are like that.
So I also adopt this kind of belief but not
all. Its nice to have the belief its because
as far as I know nothing is wrong if I will
do it. But its fifty -fifty . I know there is
above all that knows everything on earth. But
I have this in my own.

I'm not superstitious, coz I believe that life is shaped by the decisions we make. I respect those who believe in them and I know some friends who actually believe them like the bible. But I prefer to live my life on my own terms and at my own pace.

I'm generally very unsuperstitous and I find superstition to be a bit illogical, though it is quirky. Different superstitions from different areas fascinate me, however.
Even though I am generally not a superstitous person, I do find that I have developed certain beliefs that could be considered superstitious. I've examined how these beliefs came about within me and it's given me an insight to superstition as a whole, so I do understand it even if I don't embrace it as a whole.

no not at all really. I used to be when i was a little kid, but since then I have learned that you choose your own reality so no none of that bothers me and I don't worry about it either.

Not so much, unlike when i was livin in the Philippines with my parents and my granny we always practice and believe in superstitious. Like you're not allowed to comb your hair during at night, don't swept the floor at night, when you see a black cat don't continue your journey, and etc.
And i don't know why,i never get any explanation from it.

I am not a superstitious person because I believe that if your faith is strong then there is nothing to worry about.

I don't really know. I am usually not very superstitious, but sometimes, like when I say something like, "If I were to die tomorrow." I will knock on wood. Not because I REALLY believe it will "undo the jinx", but more or less because i don't know everything, and I would hate to die the next day just because I am stubborn. Haha.
