When you like a song, do you play that song over and over again?

wel!! when i like a particularly song, i always keep repeating it again and again. And i do have some of my all time favorites and which even after i keep listening to it, i don't feel bored by it. But my intensity will be less the next time round. With food, i can get fed up easily especially if i already have my fill but if its some kind of sweets/deserts well!! i can go for some 2-3 rounds. With movies maybe twice but never more than that even if i like it very much. But with somebody i am crazy about, i feel like i can spend eternity with him without even feeling bored.

If I hear a song I really like I can listen to it over and over again. I have my limits to how much I will listen to it. As for movies, when Star Wars came out in the 1970's "A new Beginning" I saw it many times. I was a kid and the price of movies wasn't too hard to come up with the cash for a movie. Now with the prices I have to plan for a movie.Food I can have the same thing if I really like the food. I have the same thing for breakfast about 6 days a week.Sunday is the day I will have something different but the only constant on breakfast is the coffee, I need the coffee. If I don't have coffee available I can have a Starbucks doubleshot in the morning and be ok the rest of the day.It comes down to if I like a certain song or movie I will purchase it so I can see or listen anytime I want.

I'm that kind of person too. When I like a song, I'll play it continuously, especially when it's a new song. I want to hear the structure of the song, the lyrics and the vocals. By then, I can remember the lyrics and singalong. Now, I'm obsessed with Mariah's latest single 'Obsessed'. I listen to it numerous times everyday. I love her vocals, especially the adlibs and the background vocals.

After listening to a song for the first time, and I happened to like it, I tend to listen to it several times (maybe more than 10 times) until I am familiar with the melody and the lyrics. After which, I would include it in my "favorites" or "selections" in my ipod, then I would shuffle my songlist so it would playback songs in random. There are movies that I also watched more than ten times but on different occasions e.g., Sound of Music, Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, Superman, etc. It really depends on my mood. Try to watch a particular movie more than once and I'm sure you will discover at least one scene or dialogue that you did not get or notice the first time you saw the movie.

When I like a song, I can listen it around 5-10 times and for a few days. But after that the feeling starts to fade. But after one or two months I feel like listening to the same song but not more than 2-3 times. Umm.. about food, I can't eat same food thrice a day. About movie ? I used to watch same movie 3-4 times when I was in school. But now, I can't watch any movie more than twice (unless it is exceptional).

One of my friends does this with his music. He will literally spend all day listening to just the same song until he can sing the whole song from memory. Then he stores it away in a playlist and keeps listening to it. I can't stand it, but he does it all the time. It just takes a special type of person I guess. Just really have to love music. And I could def eat the same food all day: PB&J. I lived off it last year in college. Pretty cheap too :)

Nope, there will be time in a day that i listen to it maybe twice or thrice but not for an hour. i dont want to reach to the point that i would not to hear it ever. But with movie, yes, i like to watch it over and over especially if theres a part or line in the movie that i really like. Depends also in the movie that i can relate to it.

yeah i can sing a song which is my favorite like almost a week. but after that i get bored to sing it.

Hello friend, that is how I am, when I like a song, I will listen to it over and over until I can sing it word for word and I know every single line and note. I don't ever get tired of it. Then if I play it the next day, after playing it a hundred times or more the previous day, I"m still not tired of it. If I really like it I can listen to it over and over again without ever getting tired. Then if some time pass and I happen to hear it again. Watch out, it's on because I will be singing and dancing right along with the music. But that's just me, ya know. It's not crazy to somebody that really love music...........peace out.

Oh yes, I can stick to a particular album for over one year, and play my favourite song over and over again. Some music never bore you. I listen to progressive rock, and a bit jazz. Never got bored, the music is always changing and each time you listen to it new thoughts come to your mind.

When I tend to like a song I seem to listen to it quite a bit but not alot everyday. I usually end up making or getting the cds of songs I like but I switch around and tend to listen to all the songs I like enough but I dont seem to ever overdue it. It is the same with movies I am able to watch them over again but not to be overdone because then I will lose interest. I think everyone is different on how they go about something like that it all depends on the enjoyment.

Yes, when I like a certain song, new or old, I listen to it again and again, and doing it just makes me love the song more. I never get tired of it and I definitely will never feel sick of it. There are songs that are meaningful and important to me, and hearing them bring back fond memories.

I only play a song a million times for a few very particular reasons, first it has to connect to my inner personality, next it has to make sense lyrics and melody wise, can't play a song that doesn't mean anything. And most importantly, it has to remind me of a special someone. Playing a song over and over again is like loving someone, you can never get tired, you can never get bored, you can never get enough, you'll be there to listen to it for as long as you live.

Yeah marianna, it will drive me crazy if someone keeps on playing the same song again and again. I would like to repeat listening to a melodious song twice only if I really love it. I would like to play the same song daily but not repeatedly the same day. I will feel bored and uneasy if listening to the same song numerous times at the same time. I dislike watching the same movie the second time no matter how nice the movie is. One of colleagues is totally different, and she likes to watch all the movies she loves many times. She has watched Titanic more than 6 times. She even will repeat watching her tv series several times. As far as I know she loves the Korean tv series very much and she never feels bored to watch again the same series the second time. She admits that she is a freak when watching her favorite movies and tv series Happy posting and have a nice day!

I do play new songs over and over until I memorized the lyrics and get the tune right, but your right, after a while playing the same song I get tired of it, lol. I only play one or twice some of the songs I like and just sing along with it.

I am very crazy about songs, and especially once i like a particular song, i listen again and again until i get bored. But i had observed that i never get bored with the songs which are having slow beat, still i like to listen it, even they are old enough

I will be honest, when i like a song very much, and if that song mean something special for me...as lyrics, or melody, or singer, i will listen , but not over and over again, because , i will not like any more after a while. Years ago, i loved a lot a song, this song was singing by Alehandro and Shakira, i was crazy about this song, and i listen again and again...and after i really hate this song, and long time i don t listen any more. Now i like again, but i listen just sometimes, and i really like it.

Not really, Like me.. I am Like "Electro House" and "Progressive House" , so i get a lot of songs from this style, and i never listening one song in about 100 times, just a few, and going to the next song :). About the movies... On TV i saw some movies few times... I think Better is to listen same song, not to watch movies 10times:)
