I just want to share to all that I have two religion. I have no contract on them which we are prefer to choice and i don't want to share which I want to choice for the respect of them because I believe that both them are they believe in GOD. The point in this topic is to know what is right & wrong? We are only one GOD, In islam we called "ALLAH" in chistian "JESUS" we know that already but there are some islam are not allowed to use "GOD" words? To those catholic who are saying M*KS in islam, you know we insulting in that word even I only half-blood of islam. And why in the news or media if there are islam involve in the news they say the word muslim or islam. It is unfair, ryt?

Hi Char, I'm a Muslim from southern region of India, true Muslims are tolerant to other belief systems. If you are really a truth seeker, and if you think there must be some aim for the short life in earth other than having more money and just enjoying and leading a luxury life; Then you have to study both religions from the actual sources of Information. However if you just try to study Islam by searching it, you may get many false information about Islam. Now let me clear my part. Islam is an Arabic word which means Peace/Submission to God. Or Peace in submission to God. Those who believe in Islam i.e. those who really live in peace by submitting to God are called Muslims. Allah is the name of God, which God says about himself, apart from that he got many other names. The English word 'God' has been misunderstood and can be used in many ways as Gods, Godess, God father, etc. but the Word Allah can't be used any of such forms, that is why Muslims prefer using the name "Allah" instead of God. How ever it is not wrong to use the word God in the sense of "The One God" About 'Jesus': Muslims must believe in Jesus son of Mary. Because Muslims believe in all prophets/messengers assigned by God. We don't believe Jesus as a God, because we believe in one and one only God. We may call God as "Allah". Jesus was a man born to another human Mary. God is so superior and glorified than his creation human, and he is free from dependents or partners or incarnations. I don't know what you really mean by M*KS, I assume its Mushrik? Mushrik means one who do shirk, and shirk means one who make/or believe partners or partnership for God. And another related word is 'Kafir'. That means one who denies, In Islamic context one who denies the truth of the submission to God(Islam). It is not an offensive word actually. Sometime this word is translated as Infidel(which were first used by Jews :) ) Regarding medias: Do you know the famous medias are not with Muslims or Muslim majority nations. Muslims are either minority in those regions and they used to look at Muslims suspicious as it is growing in their countries in contrast to their belief. As it is different from their famous belief and it is growing so faster, and it sometimes denies the concept of their beliefs.. so they tend to announce about any small incident(mainly bad points alone) about Islamic labeled things. And many other medias in the world just mimic those big named medias. Actually, Islam is a peaceful way of life , the complete way of life, by thanking accepting the God who created us and giving means and facilities to us. And then lead life in Good way as God's direction to achieve the never ending paradise, which is the salvation in Islam. The ultimate proof and Miracle of Islam is the Holy Quran, the last testament. If you really read it with a neutral mind of understanding truth from cover to cover, with meanings/explanations rather than looking for some unplugged piece of verses you can find it is really from God. You will never find a book (Its more than a book :) ) Quran is 100% God's own words. Quran is the main proof that to show Islam is the truth. I prefer to show the truth Islam by showing its beauty, rather than putting down others beliefs, however depending on the case I may sometime specify about the Bible contents. We don't believe the current day Christian/Jewish bible is the word of God or the revelation of God given to Moses/Jesus. If you are really a truth seeker, you will find the truth yourself out of knowledge. May Almighty Allah guide us to the right path. regards, a Muslim brother from India.

I am a Catholic but I am not against any religion because I believe that faith in GOD is more important than whatever religion you have. In today's world, what is more important is you know that you were created by a Divine Creator and should know what is right and wrong. People should respect people regardless of what he believes in so that we can have world peace, love and harmony.

hello char...i choose none. for a simple reason that i do not belong to any of them but i am a Christian though... but even if i don't prefer any of them, it doesn't mean that i don't respect them. i respect all religions, their beliefs and everything... maybe it just really wrong that some generalized the Muslim or Islam when one of its member makes a crime...religion is an institution and did not compose of only one person, and so if one person from this institution made a mistake, it doesn't mean that the institution have made a mistake... all religions have beautiful teachings to make a person better but how a person practice his/her religion differs from one person to another... we must learn how to respect each other no matter where religion we came from for all of us are human and created by God...

I won't agree to all terrorists being muslims, but far the most are. The exeptions are, for instance the Hindu groups that terrorizes the christians and muslims in India. The One called God and the one called Allah are not the same. If you study the bible and the quran, then you find only a few similarities between the two. I can go into great lengths to explain, but that is my view.

Some reasons why I won't join islam is because the quran was changed over time. Muslims would vehemently deny this, but copies of the quran were examined at Cairo, when a wall fell in after heavy rain. Copies were found that differed from the current copies. There were even pages where you could see where changes were made. Another reason is that islam is too much a mechanical religion. You just follow the rules and that's it and you go through all the little actions and recite the portions of the quran, whether you understand it or not, and that's it. There is no relationship of love. Nowhere in the quran does it say that Allah love his followers. Just do what you are told and don't ask questions. Another reason is the violence. Islam is the most violent religion today. If you hear about a terror group, then islam will almost always feature there. What I also dislike about muslims is when you get them into a corner about something then they revert to outwitting. They would throw the best answer at you, whether it is true or not, just to win the argument. I've caught them out doing that countless times. The result is I don't trust them in debate. So far I only met two honest muslims in that regard out of almost a hundred others.

You asked for an opinion so I am only here to give you mine. I am a Christian and am very strong in my faith. I am not too happy with islam nor Catholic. I dont believe in praying to statue. It states in my bible that is a form of idle worshiping. I also don't understand why Catholics pray to Virgin Mary when she was not a virgin after the birth of Christ. Also I believe that God is the Father, Jesus is the Son of God, and the there is also the Holy Ghost. I also believe that Islam does not believe in the same God as I believe in because they rewrote the Bible and turned it into the Quran which is not from the REAL HOLY BIBLE. I also believe that when Islam and Catholics become one religion is when the END will be near. I believe this because in the bible Jesus stated that when the near comes we will be one world with one religion. I see that it is coming very soon. I am not here to down everyone but there is a big difference between Faith and Religion. Religion has 'rules' and other traditional ways that has nothing to do with anything in the bible. Faith does not have rules like bowing. I dont bow nor close my eyes when I pray. I look up at the sky with my eyes wide open. After all why would we pray with our head facing Hell and our eyes closed so we can see nothing but darkness. This is what I have always believed. No religion and on one ever taught me this. I am going on pure Faith knowing that God will accept me for who I am no matter what because I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior. Like I said before this is how I feel and what I believe. So I am not trying to affend anyone.

I am a Roman Catholic believer, and I agreed Allah for the Moslems And Jesus for us. We prefer religions where we brought up and a part of who we are.. i think the bottom line of this is, whichever, religion you're into as long as you are a good citizen of your country and a good friend and neighbor, it doesnt really matter which religion you prefer...

I am a Christian who prefers to practice her faith in the Catholic Religion. While I respect all religions that have faith in the one true God, there is a one important factor that is different from the Muslims and Catholics (or Christians, I might add). Catholics, e.g. Christians, believe that Jesus is not only the son of Mary, but also the son of God. We believe that God and Jesus are ONE. God came to us in human flesh in the way of Jesus Christ. There is also another person of whom we call the Holy Spirit that is a very important factor in the Catholic/Christian Faith. The holy spirit is what Jesus left for us on earth when he was crucified. It is his spirit that he gave us, so we may be graced with his presence on a daily basis, and have a full relationship with God, thru The Holy Spirit, and thru his son Jesus. Because Jesus was fully human, as well as divine, we know that Jesus can relate to our daily struggles and will be there always for us. These 3 factors make up what Catholics/Christians call "the blessed trinity" All of these - God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit - are ONE AND THE SAME PERSON. I do not judge one Muslim from another, or one Catholic from another, or one Christian from another. Unfortunately, in every religion, there are those who interpret their religion in the wrong way, and are misguided by God's teachings, therefore cause descension among God's people. Because the Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that Jesus and God are one, it is possible that Muslims are only familiar with the Old Testament (what Catholics call the time before Jesus was born); It is in the old Testament that demonstrates much fighting, and wars going on between religions. It is only when Jesus was born to all people, that he taught that fighting, revenge, and wars was all wrong. We are taught thru him that we should "turn the other cheek", and not fight back, but instead we should love one another in this world. Jesus taught a whole different way of life. Therefore those who only believe in God, and not Jesus as being God himself, maybe do not understand this. I, too, have had a hard time understanding why there is so much fighting in this world, in the name of religion. But, I also, know, that in every religion, there is someone who mis-interprets God's teaching or are very mislead by their superiors; that is sad because it only causes wars between everyone.

I am Catholic even though i respect other religions. It is a shame that all of them get some bad people that corrupt the original meaning of the religion. For example, in Islam it isn´t said that people should be terrorits, and most of the islamists don´t afre, of course. The problem is: there are a few that decided to blow things like the twin tower in name of the religion, so it starts to get defamed. The same is going on with the Catholic Church: there are some "priests" that decided to do less proper things with children. OF cours thats not what the Catholic Church teaches: What it teaches is the love, the peace, and a living in community, praising to Father. i thing that is the problem, there are always "rotten apples" in any society, that damages the others and defames it.
