Be careful what you ask for. You may get it.. or not...

Have you ever wanted something really bad, even fought tooth and nail to have it and when you did, you lost that interest for it? Why is that? Even worse it was not what you thought it might be. It has happened to me a couple of times and I was so disappointed it made me not want to be too excited about anything, instead just let it happen however it happened. However, there are times when it is exactly what you wannted and hoped for. Share your thoughts.

yes and i was devastated because it did not turn out how i expected. I later found myself ungrateful and dissatisfied. so now i am very careful for what i ask for and i a very specific in asking for what i want. and i notice that when i ask foe positive things and maintain a positive attitude i get what i want and its all good. but on the flip side if i ask for something and get it and then complain about it than its taken away sometimes there are regrets and sometimes not. its all about learning who you are personally.

You know what... keeping a positive mind is a good thing and understanding that whatever happens you are going to be okay. I have also noticed that when you don't appreciate the things you tend to regret it so that is something that we must always pay attention to. For me, i have decided to just put things in place and let it happen in it's own time. Don't force anything.

Yes, I also learn not to be too excited with anything because i'm might dissappointed at the end of the day. I try to make second back up plan if my first plan failed and I don't want to be hurt a lot.

Well..a back up plan is always good even though you try to have faith in what you really want.

Hey trinee! I have felt that way so many times in my life! It can be about some material object that I wanted so badly that I fought for and when I finally got it, it just didn't feel the same! And it could have been about someone that I really wanted to be with and when I finally was able to be with them, yup, it wasn't as I expected! So is it the thrill of the chase? Is it more fun to go after something that you think you can't obtain and then when you do it's not what you thought it would be? There have been times that I was happy to get what I wanted, but more often then not I have been disappointed!

Hey Opal.I know what you are talking about. When I want something I cannot get it out of my head and I can go at it. A lot of the times I have been disappointed even though sometimes I was very satisfied. Patience is a virtue and sometimes we just need to wait and let things happen in their own time even though we plant the seeds. I think you will do fine Opal, I think there are a lot of good things in store for you! Have a great day!
