Abbreviation, do you use and if so why?

i'm a chinese.i often use abbreviation in my life. i think it can save my time. i do many things a day, i think we need't spend much time in spelling the whole word. because i think we just want others to know our mind, we needn't spelling the whole word.

Not unless I am on IM. The only one I use here on myLot is lol sometimes but very rarely. We are asked to use English and often posts that use text-style get deleted so there is no point in using abbreviations amd wasting time.

In the hospital settings doctor's, nurses, and other health care usually used abbreviation to make the work easy and promptly. But my own opinion is that as much as possible we shouldn't used abbreviation because sometimes it my read or misunderstand by other people who is reading and who is writing with an article. . Much better to used the complete word when writing or when transcribing something most especially when it is important
