Spy novels

Are there any fans of spy novels out there? If so, what are some of your favorite authors. Some of my favorites are Robert Ludlum (although some critics have given his books bad reviews), Tom Clancy, and Frederick Forsyth.

I enjoy mysteries too. Who are some of your favorite authors? I used to read more spy novels but am reading more mysteries & suspense books, now. Since the cold war has ended, I don't think there are as many good spy novels being written.
