Does anyone have experience with chewing gum or patches, which should make it easier to quit smoking? Whether positive or negative experiences?

Does anyone have a good recipe for barbeque chicken that doesn't require baking for a long time in the oven. It is so hot here that I'm trying to avoid using the oven if possible. Thanks!
