Dating sites on the internet are very spread and there are of any kind and tastes as well!!So normally on these there are a real large number of scams or fake profiles where different people hide behind them...so in what way you consider datin sites?are they funny or just wasting your time?Do you think many people come there for sincere aims or the majority should eb just scams?

i think they are terrible myself. had bad experiences. so for a long time i havent even bothered but now it looks like i'll never meet anyone as i dont go hardly anywhere and hardly know any one here any more. so ive tried a new one called plenty of fish. its free. so we will see. my friend found a guy to marry on there already

A former work colleague spent ages on dating websites, but to no avail. She was a lovely lady but it obviously wasn't really the ideal solution for her. She must have tried about dozen sites, and each time was left disappointed. I'm sure there must be some genuine sites out there, but from what she told me, most of them were little more than scams

Hey,
Well the only bad thing about dating sites is that you can't really know who you are chatting with. You never actually know, their could just be some fat guy on the other end of the website, pretending to be an attractive young male. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I have tried dating sites at two different periods in my life and I would say for a person looking for something serious they are a waste of time. For a person who just wants to go out and have fun it may be ok.

I've dabbled with dating sites in the past, before I declared myself single that is, and to be honest I haven't had much result with them, in fact the people I have met have been total disasters, most lie about themselves, either a different picture or they have a bit economical with the truth, some want Mr Perfect and some are just time wasters. I gave it up as a bad loss to be honest, it's not for me, I tried it, didn't like it and moved on. Works for some. I have never parted with a single cent or penny though always signed up for free and stayed a free member. Just as well with the 'people' I've met I'd be screaming for my money back, and no doubt so would they LOL!

I think alot of people go to these sites in hopes of finding someone to spend time with or share the rest of their life with. I am sure there are alot of fake people there also, just out to take someone for a ride.

Most dating sites are scams as most people who can't get dates and turn to them are then fleeced but proper. I know I was. I was told I needed to loose the poundage in less than subtle language by one gentleman who ran a dating service, and this was a face to face, not even a dating site. I won't even touch a dating website.

Hi tony, my sister and son were on a dating site, my sister actually went on a few dates but didn't like the people she saw, so just had fun now though I don't think she is on the site, my son met a couple of people too but that came to nothing. Personally I don't like dating sites, and think they are a waste of time and energy..but guess there are some people who really do find relationships that do last...loLo

I haven't checked too many of them out. But I did get turned down by eharmony. It was a whim that I just ran tocheck it out.... then got turned down.. guess I'm too weird! Anyway, after that, I just didn't try any more! Both of my sisters met their now husbands on line through different dating services though! I think it can be what you make it... good or bad!

i consider most dating websites as scams and waste of time, many dating websites are filled with fake people with fake identities and they have been extorting money from people and stealing their financial information, i don't believe in dating website but i do believe that social network websites can do much more better
