Is your dog spoiled?

I was just sitting here eating a sandwich and as I looked down I see my dogs with her puppy face staring up at me so I rip off a small piece of the crust and give it to her but she continues to stare and beg so once again I tear off a piece and give her a bite, well before I know it half of my sandwich has been given to my dog and I am still very hungry. I realized that this happens quite often, to where my dog gets more of my food when I am eating than I do :) and that she is completely spoiled. How about your pet? How spoiled are they?

No, my dog isn't spoiled. My dog and I eat at dinner time. I fill up dog food in my dog's bowl. I eat my food on table. All is well. I will shoo my dog away to leave me alone while I am eating. When it comes to snack time, we share the same food, usually chips and fruits. Other times, my dog stares me and I ignore it. My guess is that once you feed them out of hand, they believe they will be fed from the hands. I don't give them anything from the hands. I leave foods in the dog's bowl. The way the dogs know they will get food from the bowl, not from the hands. That's how I train my dogs that foods are at the bowl.

Mine isn't, but my wife's dog is. They can stare at me all they want, it won't help them any. I just laugh at them and say "Mine!" when they get to close or beg too much. My wife will always give in to her puppy, she has spoiled him rotten

My dog is very pampered. She is used to ac and bathed often and gets regular treats and rides in the cars. She has many people to pay attention to her....very spoiled...yes.

My dog is pampered, yes!! Spoiled, no. I take my dog to many dog-friendly places and they are so good to my dog. My dog meets other dogs - they are so wonderful. However, I control the treats because I don't want treats confused with rewards. I tell people no treats for my dog. I rather give my dog treats myself. My dog is well-behaved everywhere I go. I treat my dog a reward every time we go outside for P & P time. It works. When we come home, I hold treats because I don't give it out from my hands. I give treat into the bowl. It's easy manageable.
