Ok, most of us have pretty good table manners, but dont you think its important to have good computer/Internet manners too?
I've been a member of a lot of different sites since I got my computer and it sometimes surprises me how bad some people's Internet manners are, ok (I'm not perfect) but I try to use good manners when I'm online but I've learned that not everyone is not the same, for example in our daily lives offline you wouldn't go up to someone and say that there clothing looks awful becuse that would be mean and rude, so why would you think that its ok to say online? I would never say that someones topic is bad unless they had posted somthing mean or inappropriate to children or somthing lude, and I would never say mean things to a member who's opinions I didnt agree with after all people are entitled to there own opinions, I would never post curse words or nude picks, I try to make it a point to always be kind curtius and respectful to people on or offline just becuse your anonymous dosent give anyone the right to act a fool online.

Hello apples99 , for the most part I think I have good internet manners. I have been on some q and a sites and came across some very rude people. I do not go tho that q and a site hardly ever anymore. I know it is all talk but I agree just because we are not in person with others in a discussion doesn't mean we should forget our manners behind the monitor.

It is something that we have to be aware of because, so many of us are on the internet more then ever. Your right, just beause we are not face to face is no excuse to forget and not to remind ourselves.

I think that I do. I always try to post with the upmost respect even if I don't agree with the discussion starter. No way I would cuss or be nasty to someone for a difference of opinion. I always try to start respectful discussions as well. I think that manners makes things much more pleasant. Online and offline.
