is it wrong that i see Dexter as my hero?

not wrong at all. there are lots of Dexter fans. heck, hes like a super hero only on tv instead of comics

eheheh have you ever guessed before that your unique hero should be a serial killer?heheh... i think thi serial is famous and so many people like the story or the character as well and so thee is nothing wrong to see him as an hero too!!Surely he have an approach to the crime in different way than the usual police department but may be this cna be original too!!So i saw dexter just 1 time in my life and seemed to me funny as serial and even the character uses many humour about his condition of serial killer as well!!

Hi, I started watching Dexter from last week. I'm now in half of Season 2, I really got hooked up to this series, it's awesome. I hope that it continues to be a great story and not becoming boring like some other series when they have many Seasons. I love Dexter, well he is a kind of hero to clear the city from bad people. What I don't like much is his sister, she makes too much panic and has a big mouth. Have a nice day!

I know what you mean. Essentially Dexter Morgan is the bad guy as he is killing people but he follows a system and only kills those that have killed others. So is he the bad guy? It get rather bizarre when I'm cheering him on, am I supporting the good guy or the bad guy? If he had super powers we wouldn't be thinking like that. Whenever a superhero kills the bad guy everyone cheers and says well done. It's only because he's human and therefore it could really happen that people questions the ethics involved. Have you read any of the books that the programme is based on? I've read the first three and recommend them to everyone, although the first is the best one.

From the day Dexter started I was hooked and he is like a super hero. I get giddy and excited when I see him setting up to kill someone, sounds so horrible, but its entertaining. Besides if the show wasn't any good I am pretty sure that it would not still be on. Looking forward to the upcoming season and the new baby.

I think its ok because he is killing the bad guys. Somehow it makes it ok with me. I think he is so good in the show.

No I understand. In fact Dexter is one of my favorite shows. Not only do they show the killer side of him, but they also show his human side. They show how he justifies his actions...to prevent the bad guys from hurting the good guys. They do flashbacks of his childhood to see how he turned out the way he did. We see all sides of his personality...the good and the bad and everything in between. And we root for him.
