Today mobiles are a necessity. We don't get out of our houses without it. It made our communications easier. In our country most people preferred texting rather than making a call. I admit i am a texter to. Even though i know i could convey the message more clearly in a call. I still send it as a text. I don't know why but it seems more it is more convenient for me. How about you is texting more fun than making a call?

I find i use my phone a lot more for texting rather than making calls. I find myself texting people too, when it would be easier to call them.

well, i prefer texting. here in my country, texting is done more often than calling. people communicate mostly through text. if there are important things to discuss, we text one another. if we just want to say hi, we also text. that way we save a lot of money. calling would have been better but it would cost more. since i am a guy with a very limited budget, i think i'll just stick to texting.

Hi tomjoad, texting seems to be convenient even if requires you a lot of typing. And most of the texter are fast in typing there message. And the privacy of texting is more favorable than making a call out loud. Thank you for your response! happy mylotting!

Personally I can't get with the whole fad of texting. I think it is SO much faster to call and tell someone something. You waste a ton of time texting to them.

For most of the time, I do text. It's much cheaper. :) But when I need to talk to my mom or my boyfriend, I usually call. It's better to communicate that way and that's more personal. The only thing I hate about texting is sometimes, just sometimes, people interpret what you say differently. When you call, then the tone of your voice can pretty much give more emotion to the person you're talking to.

hi, i do agree to you about misinterpretation of written messages. If its personal and really important, a call would be more clearer on everything. Happy mylotting!

I prefer to text as it is just as easy and it works out a lot less of a cost if i text the person rather than call them.I find that 9 times out of 10 my friends prefer to text rather than to talk as sometimes the connection is very bad and you can not hear the other person.I do tend to take my mobile every where as i find that even if i am in the bath or on the loo people do tend to want a chat.Happy Mylotting.

Texting is more cheaper than call. But i prefer to use my cellphone for calling than txting because i love to hear my love ones personally and sometime txt messages are delayed so calling is more accurate for me. FYI Philippines my country is the Texting Capital of the world.

I will first text the person, if it's important and she did not reply, then I will call her. Texting is usually use for short messages while calling is for longer conversation and needed immediate response. I also don't go out without my cellphone. It is very necessary to bring. Happy myLotting!

I agree, even though i'm not expecting a call, i always bring my mobile with me. And if i need immediate response, I do sacrifice my credit for a call. happy mylotting!

Hello tuliorowena, I seldom text or call using my cell phone though I have one. The main function of having a cell phone to me is just to receive call or message from others. Unless it is really necessary, I will make a call using my cell phone.

I like the privacy aspect of texting better than taking a call out in public. I also think it is easier to text and do something else than it is to have a full conversation with someone while trying to get other things done. Now if it is a highly important matter I would rather discuss it than text it back and forth.

I just recently started to be a text-er. Now, I find myself sending more text messages than making phone calls. It's just easier, especially if you just want to relay a short message, or don't really need a response back. Many times I'll send a text to people when I know they can't answer the phone. Even if it's just a message to call me when they get the chance. It has gotten so that I am thinking of decreasing my minutes and increasing the amount of texts that I can do.

Most friends I know make a call but I prefer texts . U cannot always make a call in places like office and classes . For easier communication , I always text everybody . In case of emergency or something that requires a point of importance , I make a call . Also , Call charges are costlier than texts . I'm always economical where I feel people spend a lot!

I prefer texting over voice calls because maybe I am just being practical in properly using my load.

If it is urgent case, I would choose to call. Some times it nice better to text if the person I look for is rather busy to answer the call . Says like some one is in the meeting, cinema, working, etc.

I enjoy texting more than talking on a regular call. For one, you can tell how I am feeling by the sound of my voice on the call, which can lead to misunderstandings or even LONGER calls. Also, on a call, I have to answer.. For texts, it's just a leave a message and answer back whenever kind of thing. Also, I'm not much of a talker and it feel awkward when I'm speaking on the phone. I'd rather type out my words then speak them.

I prefer to make a call. Normally my calls are for long conversion. And a long long conversion is easy to continue through a call. For conveying any greetings I send text messages.

I feel the same way. All my girlfriend and i do is text. The only time we really call each other is if we have something very long to say and it is too much to type. But usually throughout the day we will text each other. I know that is something she does all the time i rarely see her call someone to have a conversation.

Well for me i prefer to do texting done calling. The reason is that calling is expensive while texting is just 1 peso. Eventhough there are networks that offer low rate in call still texting is the best for me. And i also want to keep messages so i choose it. Hope i can make sense here, happy mylotting.

I simply like to make calls, but somehow, people loves to text more. I don't know why, and I don't understand the mentality of it. I have to accept it as a trend. I just follow suit. If someone wants to text me, I would text them back. If they want to call me, I would definitely call them back too. For me, I would rather make a phone call rather than text. Because it cost a lot of money on texting message.

I'd rather call than text. I don't like texting although I know it's easier to reach people than calling them directly. Some people don't answer their phones unless they know who the caller is. I'd rather call because I don't have the patience to key in each letter, and I hate text language (like the way words are shortened which makes them difficult to understand). But I do text when it's the only way to reach a person.

i spend more time in texting rather than calling.. i hate talking person in next line, texting is much better because you can choose if you want to reply or not.. not in calling because you are forced to answer the conversation.!!
