do you reply...? / myLot

i feel very offended when i send a SMS or an email to somone and don't get a reply. this does not mean that i need a long letter in reply but yes i expect an accknowledgement. sometimes it even happens that if i call someone and that person could not take the call for some reason.i again expect that person to at least give me a missed call to assure me that s/he is free to talk to me. these are some very basic manners which people should instill in their lives but they don't. i am sure many of you have had such experiences.

I do try to answer back emails, but sometimes I am late in doing it. As for phone calls, I am bad in returning them unless they are super important. I really don't like talking on the phone and it seems all my friends want to keep talking and talking. If I could be on the phone and then get off quickly, it wouldn't be so bad. It is just an hour long phone call takes to much time from my day.

true there are people who talk too much and waste time but if you call them an they are unable to take your call then they must get back to you... may be you had something important to say.

I do agree that it's rather impolite if someone does not respond to your text messages or phone calls. However, you need to also keep in mind that the person you're trying to contact may be busy with other things. For SMS messages that don't get replied, I suggest that you include "Please reply" at the end of your message if it's really important for you to get a reply from them.
