That's the thing. They're right. In the Christian tradition there is the admonition to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. What gets almost immediately dropped, sadly, is the "your." The disciple is of equal importance as the Son of God. No Christians, no Christian Church. The equation is so simple as to be embarrassing to mention, but it is also the point that gets brushed aside (or squashed) by most churches. The simple fact is that your church is the One True Church, for YOU! The presumption that, that also includes everyone else is the fatal flaw that has lead to so much pillage, suffering, pain, guilt, war, and well... fatalities. Now, as to sin specifically, the grand thing about the Church of the SubGenius is that there isn't any. There are crimes, but no sins. And crimes are the concern of the State, so the Church of the SG doesn't bother with worrying about them overmuch.
