Many times I think we have all felt this way. I know that there are supposed to be many different interests and such to choose as to where we should place our discussion under, but at the same time what if your discussion has no real thoughts or could fit under more than one, or not sure which is the Best interest for which it belongs. I guess you just continue to do like we all do... Post it in a Catagory and hope people do not feel it would have been Best listed somewhere else instead.

So far never crossed into that zone of failure because in average every minute there are 10 new posted discussions posted by members. Among ten (10) of it, normally, there is one jerking my brain to make entry by replying to their posted discussion. Especially, the interested discussion smells much different point of discussion content, although sharing similar topic compare to previous discussion.

When I cannot think of a new topic to post, I just respond. It is okay to do that, and it still will move the discussion right along.

When I run into that dilemma, I go through MyLot answering other people's discussions, particularly those put up by my friends in MyLot, and respond. It helps them generate earnings, it helps you generate earnings, and it helps MyLot. Then, when you go through a massive posting moment, where you post up a lot of discussions, people who are going through a posting drought will come by your discussions and answer yours. It's a win/win situation for all involved.

hi uday,
i dont feel any dilemma because i focus more on responding to discussions, than starting my own.. there are too many discussion you can choose to respond to.. i cant keep up with the number of discussions started by my myLot friends - let alone trying to respond to the discussions from other members.. a new discussion is started every second..

Hello 23uday,
That is the reason I prefer to respond rather than thinking of the topic to start my own discussion. I don't think it is an easy task to start a discussion with topic that yet to be discussed here unless it is more about your personal experience. I prefer a lighter discussions minus the controversial issues. Since I have limited time here and all the notifications are on, I have just to many to catch up. If I ever feel bored of looking for a good discussion started by my friends, I will just go to today's top, new, recent, no responses and even new user discussions. I feel like starting a few discussions on my own and when I have the right time, I will start to post again

dear uday,
there are lots of times that we run out of new topics, new ideas, new and unique, to start a discussion. i experienced this more times. you should not worry about what to start if you have nothing new to start. there are lots of new topics other members had started already. all you have to do is browse to new discussions, hot and top discussions of the day, and if you have something to say about them, then give and post your response. this will let you continue to earn. so why bother if you have no new ideas, what's good with mylot is you can still earn even if you haven't started a new discussion, just response to a lot of them.

i too am having a hard time thinking of what discussion to start. its going to be my third month here now and i have very few discussions started. what i do mostly is reply to other users discussions, which is much nicer than creating my own, since in replying and reading other users discussion i learn more from it.

Yes, sometimes I cannot think of any topics to post on mylot. This is common. If you cannot think of any topics to discuss, then just reply to discussions started by other people until you can come up with a topic. Hope this helps.

Hi 23uday,
I think every body here have face that same problem. We have something to talk about but don't know what headline we should used.
But I really like the way you did it on this topic. We may think we have done a dumb thing. But others may think that is a creative way to express. Remember, some people think the different way on the very same topics. It is not the headline matters, it is the ingredient of your though.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

Oh sure. I've been there. I think I'd post a lot more discussions if the ones in my head were actually worthwhile. I don't want to post one that has been recently done already, and I don't want to post anything stupid. So sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to even post one discussion. Often I just can't think of them.

Sometimes it is difficult to find the right topic to start a discussion under. That is when I turn to the good old simplly easy question and answer category. The one with the spinning question mark. I think just about anything could go under that category with out a problem.

Yeah, all the time when I do a discussion which is not very often, but then I come up with a topic and hope that it sounds interesting for other mylotters to respond to it.

I just put it in the broadest topic available, if nothing else it goes in questions and answers.

This probably happens to everyone at one time or another. And then when you least expect it, the heavens open up and we're soaring!!
