Can I pray for you?

I am director of the prayer ministry of our church. This consists of a prayer chain that starts with my phone call when someone needs special prayer. Then it continues on around the chain with one calling the next and on down. Then we have an intercessory prayer group that one family is praying for another family all month and then the next month, I mix them up and we pray for another family. The are great ways to stay connected with your church members and neighbors and a great way to uplift and encourage by praying for others' needs. Do you have a need in your life that you would want to share with me and I will pray for you and your need. If you are not comfortable with sharing your need, God knows what they are and I can uplift you and your need without even knowing what it is. Please, please, if you do not believe in this or agree with it just don't comment. This is for those that have a need and want prayer and also for those that are willing to join in and help me pray. There are many prayer warriors out there if we can get together online and pray. Thanks for your post and God bless you!

What a great offer, there are many times when prayers are asked for on mylot. My focus is world peace this year and I try to make people aware when there are special occasions coming up where there will be a large group praying for this at the same time. I pray every morning about 4:00 AM Pacific time for world peace and of course anyone is welcome to join me.

Hi mamacathie, I come from a devout christian family, my parents taught us to pray everyday so prayers have become a habitual thing in my life. People of all faiths agree that prayer is our way of communicating with God. By being a prayerful person, we experience a deeper sense of inner peace, and we become more joyful. I believe group prayers for special intention are more powerful. How do I request for prayers from you? Do I need to send my name? I really need you to pray for a special intention.

If you are not comfortable with sharing the need at all I can pray for you and am praying for you as I type for what ever the need is and God knows without my even having to know what it is. I would be happy to pray with you. I'd also like to ask that you pray for the economy to get back on track real soon. I will keep checking to see what else to add to my prayer list. This is a great thing to do, you will be greatly blessed.

I have learned that a ministry that prays serves in a most powerful way. I have been praying for the strengthening of marriages and social structure, unity, love, revival, grace, deliverance, hope, soul prosperity, health (body, soul, and spirit), financial stability, and an attitude of giving and compassion for our families, companies, schools and governments, and anyone else that we have met in our lives. First and foremost that we all would have a close relationship with God, be led by the Holy Spirit, and that we would have an unquenchable heart for worship and God's Word. That God's Will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. I know this is general but if you could agree with me in these areas that would be much appreciated. My personal prayers include many more specifics but this is overall what the sum is that is on my heart for this world.
My prayer is that God would hold up all prayer warriors with great strength and courage and give them all what they need to accomplish this.

Count me in the prayer thing. I get so excited every time somebody talks about prayer. I've only recently just got back to the Lord after years of running away from him. I've joined a good church but I am not yet fully acquainted with the guys there. I would like you to pray and agree with me that God will lead me into meeting the correct people (I have a tendency of attracting bad company) and also for my business to get back on track.
I too would love to pray for you and as I type this I thank the Lord for you and for your wonderful discussion and I also would like to pray for all the members here in mylot for God to reveal himself to us, revive us again and give us that hunger and thirst for him alone and that we should focus on him and only him.

I am a christian in China,and also I am a leader of a group in young fellowship,now we need lead a group of young people who new comer of church learn the course how to pray.
But I do it not good,my pray are not powerful.
Anybody share your experience to me? thanks!
