Some people graduate in under 4 years (I am referring to bachelor's degrees). That can be from transfer credits from high school, from taking summer classes, or overloading on courses. A friend of mine is about to graduate a semester early with a double major. Did you do this? Do you know people who did? What do you think of it? It probably looks good for applications and resumes, but at the same time maybe you miss out on some social things. Would you do it?

I am currently obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. 90% of my degree is being completed online, the only thing that I have to attend a classroom for is my Lab work. For this reason, I will be able to finish my degree much sooner than most students. Personally, I find this very favorable. As I plan to carry on into Medical School, which is an additional four years, I would like to be done with undergraduate school as soon as possible. I don't want to be in my late 20's and just graduating Med! There are many things I would like to accomplish in the medical field, and I would like to be young enough to do them well.
I don't really think you miss out socially. I have friends who are attending classes and have almost double the normal course work of other students, but they still have time for friends, somehow. I think anybody who can balance school, work, and friends is someone to admire.

I know a classmate who finish with two major in college, she graduate with Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science and Biology. She choose two major if in case she is not qualify for other jobs she can still apply for another job that is related to her major. Aside from that she have plan to take up medicine or law after graduation. It is helpful as a career booster and it open her to many opportunity. She manage it and even got good grades and a consistent dean lister. Not a nerdy type but she excelled academically and even have a boyfriend. She is very good in multi-tasking.
