exactly and since Jesus PBUH set an example, Therefor we need to do somethings Like Jesus.
(*_* ) When He Prayed He PBUH fell on his face as Mentioned in Matthew 26:39.
And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed ....
(*_* ) He used to Greet his Disciples saying: Peace be Unto You as in Luke 24:36
And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
Indeed Jesus PBUH is the Example, and Muslims - guided by Muhammad - always fell on their face while praying, They always use Peace Be Upon You to Greet Others, and Circumcision is a must in Islam.

Hello BethTN81,
Jesus - The Son of Mary - was baptized for the same reason He was circumcised on the Eighth Day, according to the Law of Moses, as mentioned in Luke 2:21, Circumcision is a Must in Christianity as Jesus was circumcised, but it was Paul later on who exempted Christians from Circumcision (allowed them to eat pig meat) in order to make it easier for the Romans to convert to Christianity.

No, you are wrong, it was Peter, who after God sent him a dream, advocated non-circumscision and eating of non-kosher foods. After discussion it was Jesus's brother James the Just who made the final pronouncement on the matter, confirming that for Christians circumscision is not required and that Christians are not prohibited from eating non-kosher food.

No, clearly not. Circumscision made sense for a tribe wandering through the desert without access to proper hygiene just as not eating pork made sense in those conditions since pork carries the infant stage of the human tape work and, if badly cooked, can infect humans. Neither of these conditions still apply

oh BethTN81!...
It seems that you born just yesterday or maybe your not from Earth? You still not know yet the purpose, the meaning and the importance of baptizing and some other traditions especially the Jewish and other religions.
I already said my own opinion. Oh well I know it is short but that's all I got. For your follow-up question I'm sorry I can't answer that. I'm not a preacher or a professor or whatever. And I don't know much about Jewish traditions regarding baptizing and Jesus. I'm just like you also maybe or whatever.
And if you already knew it why don't you just tell or share to us what you have. Ok.

An answer of a good conscious towards God but also towards everyone else too. Sometimes we have to do things not only for our sake but for the sake of others so we don't make them fall. Salvation isn't made in one big leap its done in steps.
Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way
Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Simply because he became a Man as well. and as part of that salvation, he too needed to be baptized like any one else. It was part of his plan really, otherwise, youth today won't be baptized and not become part of Gods' Children....like me.lolz. sorry not much details there.
