Life At The Airport (a poem)

(Now that summer is upon us, here are some thoughts to ponder when choosing to fly the unfriendly skies).
Taking off your laced up shoes and getting patted down,
as intercom announcements shock ear piercingly loud.
Having all your undergarments rifled through and pawed,
then there's the awful chance of having all your luggage lost,
but don't forget the joy of boarding, smelling plane exhaust!
Then people whine and moan when flights are cancelled or delayed,
when they may as well have driven or even hopped a train -
and for the same amount of dough, alleviated pain.

thanks for the poem. it is witty and funny. it is always good to write from our experiences because we could see and feel the moments unfolding as write about them. we allow others to enter our experiences and make them feel as we feel. nice work here.

Awwww why do you have to go and destroy it for me?
I love airplanes and airports and flying - I don't know why that is. I just really enjoy going to the airport to be picked up or drop off.
