Helium article 0 of 0

So after not being able to post anything all day yesterday I logged in to helium around 11 or 12 last night and submitted my latest two articles. When I went to the earnings page to see how the rest were doing I discovered the new titles were listed as 0 of 0. I thought perhaps this was a mistake since recently my stats have shown numbers for creative writing that were incorrect on one page and correct on another. This morning they are still 0 of 0 and I am concerned. How can something be 0 of 0 if there is 1 thing present? This makes absolutely no sense and now I am wondering how it will affect my earnings. The writing score is still good, just above 94% and 28% are competitive so I don't understand what the problem is. Has this ever happened before? Does anyone know what this means?

Why not post the question to the Helium site? The admins or the Stewards could likely provide you an answer more quickly than you will receive one here. I do know that there were some fixes to some of the Editor systems over the past few days and that NARS was down.

Yes I do believe it. I am a Helium Steward (Jobs & Careers) thus my response. One of the things that is helpful about the Helium Zones and Forums is that others on Helium will benefit from both your question and the response of the Admins or the Stewards, or both. This then improves Helium overall. Not discounting the value of myLot and getting answers here simply providing, from a Steward perspective, the value of using Helium as well.

In that case I appreciate you taking out time to participate in this discussion. I and The handful of writers with whom I network here can earn a bit of pocket money for discussing our experiences here with helium and the other sites which is not possible in the forums. Also, we attract new writers through the course of our discussions. Not to put down the forum in any way but I have had trouble navigating in the past and found I can get answers faster from two or three people who are seasoned writers there. The other issue for me personally is that in the time it would take me to search through the forums I could be working on articles in the limited time I have between other responsibilities. How long have you been a channel steward? Where can I/we read your articles?

Believe it or not the answers come quite quickly here from writers who are more experienced and those who are in fact stewards themselves.

Think this means Helium is still having problems. I turned off the computer so I wouldn't be tempted to go back and check on my articles last night. LOL It figures they are still having problems since they were down for so long yesterday. If it is just your new articles doing this you may want to let Helium know because that means they may have a heck of a mess on their hands if they find out later.

If it's only on new articles it shouldn't effect earnings. I think they may have a problem maybe with just the rating system on new articles. I am sure they fixed that right away because it would effect other people's earnings that were 1/100 compared to 88/100. LOL I won't have to worry about that since I haven't done anything of late.

Whatever it was it seems to have been fixed because one of my articles that was showing a 0 is now 1 of 1. I didn't check the other one.

I am sure the diehards brought it up in the forum immediately! It is odd but at least it is not affecting our earnings.

I too joined helium before 6 months. But not sure how far it work efficiently. Since the minimum payout in helium.com is 25$, it quite difficult near it. Anyway good luck for you.

I joined helium in March, posted the first article to get the $5 bonus and then took a couple weeks to post more. It took me most of April to figure out how helium worked and earn my rating and writing stars. Finally in May I noticed my account balance had gone up one penny. My stars where hard to maintain until I started posting more articles. In one month I was halfway to the payout amount. In another month I had enough for payout. By the time the 1st of the month rolled around I had over $30 in my account. It is possible to reach payout quickly if you achieve writing and rating stars and bonuses. Helium requires that you put some time into it. Two months ago I was lucky if I got a few pennies each week from page views. Now I get ten or fifteen pennies per day. From last Sunday night until this Sunday morning I have earned 86 cents in passive income from page views. I am almost at $1 per week. I have 58 articles and my writing score is 95.75%. I am now working toward my fourth writing star. Unless there are restrictions for the country in which you live it is quite possible to reach payout in just a couple of months. If you are limited to performance income you simply must post more articles of good quality on topics that are popular. Some of my less popular topic themed articles are now being noticed because of the more popular ones. There are a few tricks to try to improve your earnings at both helium and Associated Content.

Think its a bug after yesterdays work as I have submitted three articles today, two of which are now 0/0 although the first one is 2/2 so can't quite figure out what is happening. Was just about to take a wonder into the community to see if it is a known problem will let you know.

seems to be a widespread issue, although not a lot that can be done about it as the Helium techie guys don't work weekends. could be just an issue where you are first in a title, as if there is more than one article it appears that a rank is eventually achieved.

It appears though despite being ranked 0/0 daily revenue is still applied, so hopefuly there will be no issues with upfront payments either.

Helium is a website for writers to post articles on a plethora of subjects within dozens of channels and subchannels. It is very good for beginning writers because it is easy to get published and it is good for established writers because it provides a good source of passive income that is perpetual. Usually when you submit a piece to a periodical you are paid a lump sum of money. Unless you are fortunate to have an article appear in Rolling Stone or some other major publication you may not earn very much for your article. At helium you won't earn big bucks in upfront payment but over time you will earn a few pennies or even dollars per day depending on how often people are reading your article. How well your article earns depends uppon a few things including the keyword density. If you are a good writer and can adapt to writing for online publication it can be quite lucrative once you build up a cache of articles.

I tried writing to the highest earning areas and found that they werent that interesting and so I lost that motivation to write. I would say though there are some weird topics that earn quite decently and one of my biographies earns 50c a month and I didn't even think he was that famous.

I have been looking through the earnings pages before to see where my articles are ranked (1 of ?) and noticed an increase in my earnings between pages. Certain topics are more popular than others. Certain articles have seasonal appeal such as those centered around holidays.

Hi Canellita, Why worry? This is either a machanichical error human error and your are on the verge of deprivation and you are helpless. This why I do not join Hell =iuam or helium. It is all the same as both have the words 'hell; and in the hell you are supposed to suffer and you are undergoing the purgation.

and there was me thinking that Helium came from helios and light, guess they must have missed off the second "l" when they created the name

Mechanical errors are usually the result of human error more or less when it comes to computer programming. Just out of curiosity, where does the word iuam come from?

haha Canellita, you publish in Helium or Heaven? I think that must be after the maintenance yesterday. Helium wants to fix the empty title that is not empty problem, and now they create another problem. I think you have to report the bug to Helium, just make noise in the forum, Janice Brand will read and take action.
