Can you just write down your newest poems? I wrote something yesterday after a years brake and I just wanted to see what fresh thoughts come out of other people. It would be good if you could also mention what inspired you to write it. My inspiration was a girl I am starting to like :) This world is built for us. All the colors around, To make our days bright, All the rain that pours down, To make our roads shine. The white winter snow, To make us try to keep worm. All the thundery storms, To hold each other tight. The colors of the rainbow To make everything right. The smell of vanilla To give it all scent. All the problems we go through, To make us believe that everything else, Is more than just a dream

That's a beautiful poem. You are absolutely a gifted poet. If you wiil keep up with your composing talents, I am sure you will become a famous poet. I like writing. Writing is my hobby since my high school days, but not in composing poems. I do not have the gift as you do. Best regards.

Tick-tock, tick-tock Ring....RING!! Slam. Yawn. The sun carved a smile The fresh green grass Cheerfully wave and sway The dawn of a new day Lets go out and play Shreiks of children fills the air Couples trod on sidewalks in pairs Adults chatter attracts my ear Birds swooping, perched on a tree Singing with glee But alas... How long will this last? Well, greenline. Everyone can be a poet. You need not be a Robert Frost, Robert Browning or William Yeats to create a poem. What you need is careful observation of your surroundings, use of your five senses (touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing), and put them on paper. You're now a poet :)

The only poetry that I have done has been in college. Literature major who wants to be a writer, hence the creative writing class I took which resulted in the little poetry that I have written. And I haven't written any poetry since. But I will admit that it did help my regular writing. Someday, I might try my hand at more poetry.
